Champions League | Matchday 6

Ref will be in the away end at Old Trafford on Sunday.

You can't give one and not the other, disgraceful decision

It's not luck ffs, they've only had an oppo player gift them a pen, a red card and had a penalty against them overturned for crying out loud.

No team in the world is as lucky as Liverpool. Whenever they need it the opps do something stupid, every 50/50 situation goes Pools way.
They are a really good team, but pisses my off how lucky they are.

Yep I said up thread every time they are losing or drawing, they're gifted a dodgy penalty, a goal keeper blunder, an own goal, just SOMETHING that falls into their lap, here we have the referee finally give a penalty against them. Then over turn it

It's fecking infuriating and I can see them winning at least one big trophy this season. The sooner Klopp goes the better.

It makes it even more infuriating given our situation

Didn't Blind have heart issues a while back?
Brilliant player.
Still baffling why he and Herrera were let go.

Don’t be ridiculous. Daley Blind and Wan Bissaka will never play the same position ever in their life. It was a very stupid point to make and trying to dig deeper is just making it worse.
You do know that left backs and right backs play symmetrically on the same position or do you think right backs are inherently different?

I don't even know what to say about that, foul clear as day. Penalty all day long.

Pool 100% lose this game 11 v 11, honestly they could have lost it 10 v 11 too.

Even though Ajax trashed Dortmund, the worst person on the pitch is the referee, how the hell did he get his license

VVD is one player, who has played almost every minute for Liverpool this season?!

I said myself that Dortmund aren't playing good football this season and that Rose needs to show more stylistically, but not being able to build up cohesion with a set team, constantly missing important players and having to replace them with inferior ones and players not being physically/mentally in top shape, because they have to be overplayed are legitimate issues.

You said that Hummels was injured etc but he's also playing many minutes, just like VVD after his injury.

Injuries arent forcing Rose to play a diamond formation from the start of the season. Plenty of managers have faced massive injury crises where they've had to play weaker players but what keeps the team functioning at a high level is the tactical coesion, that was clearly not evident even when players were fit so obviously it wouldn't work with weaker players.

Klopp beat Madrid 2-0 with Eric Durm, Oliver Kirch, Manuel Freidrich, Milos Jojic and Grosscheutz. There is a big difference between losing because of injuries and the utter tripe they put out tonight.

Amazing that Blind is still playing - classy player. Wish he was still at Utd but with a decent manager coaching him.

edit - Ole doesn’t get anywhere NEAR enough shit for letting Herrera go and then blowing money on midfielders who sit on the bench.

If they win this they're almost qualified in a difficult group, while we make heavy weather of what was supposed to be one of the easier groups. And we also have City battering teams. It's just infuriating

This is exactly what they used to say about us under Fergie. It's just part of being a good team with a winners mentality. Completely agree on your last point though. Football is fecking annoying these days. Klopp needs to feck off soon.

I want Erik Ten Hag. at Old Trafford

So do I. Sounds like Ajax are playing brilliant football and getting fantastic results. How I'd love for that to be us.

We'd better not completely over look him and he joins fecking Liverpool or City but you can just guarantee that will happen

When Ole arrived, hadn't Herrera already decided he was off because United had dragged their heels on a renewal?

Shocking penalty from Mbappe. Shouldn't have been a penalty anyway, nor should their first one.
