Champions League | Matchday 6

When they signed Grealish it was all but done that Messi had extended for Barca. It was like 2 days after they signed Grealish that it suddenly fell apart. Can't blame Pep for not predicting the future & Grealish will do well for them in the end.

Yeah, can't really remember how it happened, that's why I added that if that's down to him. Anyway, argument stays for not signing any top class striker too.

BT saying Curtis Jones has been the best player, no the Porto goalkeeper has been Liverpool's best player

Yeah Ander gets overly criticised by our fans IMO.
Don’t know why, he was a decent player for us. Could’ve done with keeping him around. Veratti though, impressive every single time I’ve watched him. Brilliant player

Quite bad to lose to Stoke of France. However, Jesus and Foden should have been on the pitch after 55-58 minutes. Instead of Sterling and Grealish, both were absolutely awful. Messi scored a worldie but come one, he was bad. Of course he needs to have only 8-10 very good / great games and PSG win everything.

Pep signing Grealish for 100m and not going all in for Messi must be one of the most stupid things he has done in his career(if that's down to him).
It's obvious his deal with PSG was prepared for some time. Reports in Spain even mentioned back in March that Ramos said it to Perez during negotiations. I mean... Roman wanted Messi for years and now when he's available he doesn't even try? Really? And that was before Chelsea spent 100M+ on Lukaku.

Messi 5th top goalscorer against the big 6 while never playing in the PL is insane

Nah he needs to score against the likes of Soton,Stoke, Brentford,Everton, etc to show that he is the real GOAT...do what Harry Kane used to do.

Dumb take. Being good on the ball isn't helpful if you're never on the ball because your team can't get a kick and you can't be bothered running around a bit to help out.
Dumb take. Messi started attacks. He never runs much and that’s okay because he does Messi things at specific points. Doesn’t mean he had a bad game. Average game with a moment of magic. You’d probably foolishly claim he was “bad”.

7 minutes of injury time in R Madrid game, not watching it but, really?

Oh 100%. With a number 9 they smash PSG tonight. Scoreline doesn't tell the story of this game at all.

Is there a bigger upset in European football history than Sherriff Tiraspol winning at Real Madrid?
