Champions League Last 16 games - Feb/Mar 2015

For me the best CL match this season considering how much of an underdog Monaco was before the match and how outstandingly they played. I am lost for words, this was a great performance. Moutinho, Kondogbia, Abdennour, Martial, Dirar were all awesome.

Should be good second legs for the two matches tonight.

Arsenal will have to go out all guns blazing and will need to score 3 without conceding, while being wary of Monaco's counter attacking prowess.
Athletico playing at home and trying to overcome a 1-0 deficit, which is always exciting.

God I love the CL. Even when we're not in it, it's still exciting.

How often do you think Ozil thinks about Real Madrid winning the Champions League the season after he left?

On the basis of today; a lot.

Moutinho, Kondogbia, Berbatov, Martiel, Ferreira-Carrasco and Abdennour were class.

Carrasco in Portuguese means executioner. Shame he's Spanish speaking.

That was absolutely terrible from Arsenal, they pull it back to give themselves a chance just to blow it again. Could see how important it was when Monaco manager was sprinting down the touchline. Suicidal stuff.

edit: Thought Leverkusen were very good today, wasn't expecting it

Needed them tied up in the CL..

Three goals away from home and they can defend.

All well and good laughing at Arsenal but it shows how poor the PL is and Arsenal going out early doesnt help us at all.

I was thinking this to begin with but I think the psychological blow of getting knocked out by Monaco in the last 16 will be significant. I want Liverpool and Spurs to stay in the Europa because that is more awkward to manage than the CL but Arsenal getting knocked out of the CL is good for us IMO.

Disgusting performance. Absolutely shit.. Bunch of morons playing as if they have the right to win any match. No way they will progress. Totally gutted with such players. Wenger should be put infront of a firing squad or handed over to Piers Morgan.

Fantastic performance by Leverkusen today. They really deserved that result and with Godin suspended, one away goal might be possible and see them go through in the return leg.

Arsenal need to score 3 now.
I know, I meant Chamberlain's goal.

We'll probably be 2-0 up for the last half an hour in the return leg, before Monaco score on the counter right at the end. Beyond idiotic performance from the management and the players.

The Daily Arsenal on drive time tomorrow will be hilarious.

I hope Arsenal can come back though, if they play at their best they could do it, but not playing like they did tonight.
