Champions League Last 16 games - Feb/Mar 2015

Bizarre team to put out but I can't imagine any City team matching up well with Barca playing like this. There's something to be said for a quick death.

Juventus in front 2-1.

Dortmund haven't been incredible at all but comfortably the dominant team. Juventus have been so shit. Can't believe they're leading.

The Belgian insists he has faced more challenging assignments at the Britannia Stadium than taking on Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez

Vincent Kompany insists Manchester City have no reason to fear Barcelona and believes an away trip to face Stoke City is more intimidating than a clash with the Catalan giants.

:cool::D Mighty EPL...

did something happen that we dont know at the britannia stadium? was he gang raped by stoke players and fans? that's the only way i can imagine something worse than this

Mascherano was my player of the World Cup, even though I'd clearly not have given him a Ballon d'Or vote.

Imagine United against Barca right now. Would be humiliating.
Possibly a narrow win, but I doubt we'd humiliate them.
This is making me more depressed about lumping it to Felliani.

This really is something else..
Barcelona wouldn't be able to handle Fellaini. In all seriousness, we probably wouldn't win, but we'd pose them more problems than City are doing.

I wish we had pace up top like Messi/Suarez/Neymar, instead we have a load of plodders :(

Ye we probably dont deserve to be leading this but i'm not complaining :D

Do you think Brentan will try and take any credit for Suarez goals tonight?

"i saw his goals the other night and.....*gulp* i saw a wee move we used to work on in training here. Aye, i used to say to Luish....Luish, when you play the ball it's all about the muscles that you don't use...your wee muscles, the cute ones as I call them. He'd smile in his adorable way and say "si boss". Which is yes, in spanish."

Juventus playing extremely disappointing but somehow Dortmund manage to gift them the goals..

Well this is bittersweet. On one hand how utterly marvellous to see the Blues being comprehensively dismantled at the Wastelands. And yet that feeling is tempered by seeing the kind of rhythm, movement and understanding that is just light years away from our present side. We truly are in the wilderness right now compared to this Barca side. They are superb.

City lucky not to be 4 down. Great half from barca, messi superb.

Makes it worse when you consider this Barça side isn't as good as it once was and they've been criticised no end this season.

Not sure about that

For me barcelona over the past couple of months rivals their time under pep

Of course they have to maintain that to really be compared

Pep said that was their best performance under him. It was insanely good and this doesnt compare!

We are nowhere near the quality of Barca. Watching Messi and Co make you realize how average our play makers like Rooney are. Totally different class.
