Football is souch better as a neutral. Just enjoy seeing other teams get wrecked and it doesn't involve us at all.
I know but may backtrack ...he’s running out of options
One has had a very poor season and the other one is returning from a very long injury.Against a Barcelona XI which can’t find space for Griezeman or Dembele
Mad wasn't it? I understand having a particular approach or tactic but when it not only fails to work but actually costs you over and over again, why the feck would you keep doing it? Are they that inflexible?Barcelona playing suicidal football.....over and over again. Quite bizarre.
This tells you something about the coaching. I never really rated Müller or Perisic as standalone players but they perfectly fit into this well oiled machine.
City's defence is more vulnerable. And winning 4-1 against Barca by halftime would give Bayern such a massive boost going to semis.
Perhaps. I heard they have now scored 150 goals this season?
Point is i don’t think Bayern would do that vs our fully fit defence. They’d score but not obliterate is like this.
Barcelona we’re inviting pressure with their idiotic Mandatory passing from back Policy.
I think City will have a lot of joy against Bayern's defense. It's been pretty poor.
I highly doubt it. He is a massive Espanyol fan as well. It would be worse than if he were to go manage Arensal after Spurs. He won't do it.
Pochettino also expressed reticence to such an idea on several occasions, most recently in 2018 when he claimed he would never coach Barca, Arsenal or Rosario Central due to his close ties to Espanyol, Spurs and Newell's Old Boys.
"I would prefer to work on my farm in Argentina than go to work in certain places," he said - but he has now backtracked on that statement.
"I have to explain it well," he told El Pais. "I was in Barcelona that year and I met [Barca president Josep Maria] Bartomeu in a bar.
"We greeted each other because we were taking the children to the same school and we were talking for five minutes. That generated a rumour that set off alarms because there were more teams that wanted us.
"When reporters asked me, I wanted to settle it drastically. I didn't want to disrespect Barcelona. You can say things differently. Espanyol has made a name for me, but I'm not arrogant and I didn't like making a statement like that.
"Maybe now I wouldn't because in life you never know what will happen."
I don't think they'd destroy City, but if we'd be playing them now, I could quite easily see them destroy us.
We wouldn’t play like Barcelona have attempted. OGS would park the bus and play on the counter. It would be a very different gameI don't think they'd destroy City, but if we'd be playing them now, I could quite easily see them destroy us.
I think if De Gea plays like he did against Chelsea they would kill us 5-1. If not, then they probably win 2 or 3-1.
To be fair, we snuffed City out in both league matches this year, especially in the second one where they had no clear cut chances the entire match. When we want to defend, there are few teams better in all honesty.
Whats next for Barcelona? Messi 33, Suarez 33, Busquets 32, Pique 33, Alba 31, Rakitic 32, Vidal 33, Griezmann 29... Lots of good players to replace in the next few years
City's defence is not great, but it's definitely not as bad as Barca today, think most would agree.
Messi isn’t in the game at all. Barely seen himBarca so poor. Messi and Suarez not pressing at all.
They would kill us with their pressing.
bayern have a "philosphy" and stick by it regardless of manager I suppose.
Something we are slowly building back up at our club.
Just goes to show that you don't need a 100m player to have a top tier team. Really impressive.
You never know. The man is out of work right now. Can see it happening.
I said City's defence is more vulnerable than Bayern's.
They spent 80mil on a defender last summer who doesn’t even start.bayern have a "philosphy" and stick by it regardless of manager I suppose.

Always a Barca player on the ground rolling around at every stoppage,
