Champions League Knockouts (12 Aug - 23rd Aug)

Werner an idiot for not at least seeing the season through. Nagelsmann is class though, should be a complete no brainer for a top club to go for him. Would hope we do if we move on from Ole at any point next season, but he would definitely be a step up regardless.

He is and he makes sure everyone knows it. The other he talked to the press about how he was on Real's not so long short list and how it was him who turned them down, because he felt it wasn't his time yet.

I hope Ole is watching, his coaching staff, the "recruitment team" and notice this flawless Upamecano performance where he bosses the game, passes with ease and accuracy, left foot, right foot, smashes Costa early on and keeps him quiet.

Look no further, go fecking buy him.
He had just extended until 2023 two weeks ago. What a clever move by RB Leipzig to make the negotiatons with you harder

So we're looking at Red Bull vs Qatar on one side and Dubai vs old football presumably in the other side.

How long until the owner receives the trophy instead of the captain?

If PSG can't beat Leipzig then their owners need to accept that they simply aren't good enough to win the CL regardless of the manager.

Leipzig is getting Di Maria back next game and Mbappe most likely starts, so it'll be a better PSG. I'm happy Leipzig is going through though, it will make the semi-final much more attractive to watch than if Atletico got through.

Yeah Leipzig are an awful plastic club as well.

I seem to remember the Chelsea players taking the trophy over to Roman when they finally won it in 2012; having the owner actually lift the trophy can’t be much further away from that.

Leipzig v PSG is a depressing semifinal

Mental how close it was to Atalanta Leipzig in the semi finals of the European cup

Why do Atletico play like that? They are against a team who are weaker on paper it makes no sense playing like that & it cost them.

Can neymar troll the caf by pouncing on this chance to roar into the camera with the cl trophy in his hand and say feck you redcafe?

He's had a very good game but recruitment teams shouldn't be judging players by one performance.

I've watched them many times this season, he's always impressive. But to perform like that in a CL quarter final just shows he's ready to take on the world.
