How thick is Rio Ferdinand? The worst pundit in history beside the other, Michael Owen.

As I’m typing Rio just said he seen Roberto Martinez and it was Cannivaro. What a tool.

An hour seems fair to me? I wouldn't be expecting to still be in line if the gates were getting through supporters at an acceptable rate.

Maybe there's more to it but it reeks of "English supporters are coming, so assume they're scum and don't let them in". Eventually fans get tired of there being no movement, so a minority start causing problems. And at that point the officials feel vindicated and break out the test gas.
This is the way I see it as well, especially considering the shocking organisation of the EL final

What's wrong with their fans? I know it's a touchy subject due to Hillsborough and that was a tragedy indeed but there's just too many cases of their fans acting like absolute wankers.
I don't think any other English club gas been this embarrassing in the long run.

Pure coincidence. Madrid fans got into the ground absolutely fine but I guess it's the French police and stewards picking a fight with the poor Liverpool fans.

Tbf, foreign police and stewards have a hardon for escalating stuff with English fans. Happened a few times with us also.

Imagine if City hadn’t come back last weekend & this was for the Quad. These scenes would be infinitely worse.

But let's keep the Heysel, Hillsborough and victims chat going. It's such a joy to read. Stayng classy as always.

It's the Liverpool fans who showed up without tickets that's caused the problems mate, some of them have broken into the stadium.

Ah rubber bullets and water canons would sort the lot out.

Just shut the gates if Liverpool fans aren't getting in because of other Liverpool fans they can only blame themselves and each other.
What I meant with teargas is that I hope it is against troublemakers. Not regular people.

I've been corrected (it was 2 hours... Which you'd think is fine) but for a major final when you know there will be loads of security and extra fans without tickets, I don't think one hour would be sensible.

Having to watch extra Jake Humphreys is far worse than being pepper sprayed directly in the eyes.

My thoughts exactly

He is a tool for mistaking someone?

They`re scousers, it is just the way they behave.

So they changed it from 21:30 to the oddly specific 21:36 so Camila could finish her full set I presume?

Is it just me or is arriving one hour before a major final to get into the stadium not really "arriving early"

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. You literally have all day. Now, I'm not saying you have to be in the stadium by 10 am, but FFS, how can you feck up so bad.

I’m always proud of Hull City’s conduct in Europe, we’ve never been in trouble, not once

Why is everyone pointing the blame on Liverpool fans? I mean not like UEFA are a stellar organization.
