Champions League 24/25 | Matchday 6: December 10-11

Girona with a few ex PL players. Blind, Gazzaniga, van de Beek. Fair to say they've struggled in the CL this season.

I thought Girona were a City breeder feeder machine for them, what kind of premier league reject dumping ground shit is..? Blind, Van de Beek, Romeu, Gazzaninga , Gil?

Atalanta are super strong this season, they are currently leaders in Serie A and have won last 9 games.

As Sacchi said a few days ago "they fly, they travel at 1000 kilometers per hour and make difficult stuff look easy".

The way they press up is especially uncomfortable for us. The defense has many problems to make the ball advance in such circumstances.

Also, Real Madrid will be looking at the abyss today when they visit Bergamo. If we lose, which would not be rare given our current form and injuries, the chance not to make it to the next stage in CL will grow up dramatically and there will be almost no room for mistake in the last two games.

Vinicius will start the game, but it is a risky one for a player of his characteristics and last time he came back early he got injured again. The fact Ancelotti will use him in spite of this risk indicates how important this game is for the Italian coach.

Don't forget Asprilla, Danjuma, Stuani and Romeu.

Was watching a game a while and the commentary kept going on about Brian Hill. I was wondering why the feck is there someone playing there called Brian Hill, he sounds like he should have be playing for some English team in League 1 or 2.

Turns out it was Brian Gil, I was even more confused then, as I was pretty sure he was still left in a cupboard at Spurs.

Girona could have scored 3 goals in the first 15 minutes - really should have at least one, Blind has blood on his shoes - and then Liverpool could have scored a couple of their own since

Great game

PSG doesn't have a strong opponent today. They better target a win instead a draw to secure top 24 position

I swear Liverpool get at least one pen per game.

What were those angles the showed on the VAR check? None of them showed a clear view of the incident
He took off his shoe. You don't need a better angle to see that

Stonewall penalty

You're barking up the wrong tree here.

Ok performance. Hard game. Girona were very well organized in their low block. Alisson reminding everyone why he's a no brainer over Kelleher. Nunez is trash. No brain in his head. We need to sell him in the summer.

Buy Santiago Gimenez for 80 million!

Liverpool not just the best team in England but also the best team in Europe. Who could have predicted that in August

No chance we keep a clean sheet here

The good news is scoring more shouldn't be tok hard

That Aston Villa jersey tonight reminds me of this one.

Think it's fair to say that Glenn Hoddle thinks this is a step up for Atalanta.
