Champions League 2022/23 - Matchday 3 - 4/5 October

Milner starting in big games for us 2022 is beyond ridiculous. Shouldn’t have played a Old Trafford and he’s starting in our toughest opening CL game. He was brought in for experience and to see us out through games when we were winning and that team role was 3/4 years ago, now it's the opposite and he's just a liability. He should just retire when the WC comes around never mind at the end of the season.

For Liverpool under Klopp there will always be the year after next.

If they could’ve they would’ve. Let’s not pretend that Klopp’s Liverpool were suddenly never a good side.
They were a good side.

The conversations that they were the best side ever (yeah, there are receipts of people claiming such insanity) were everywhere, much to the sane's amusement.

The fact this weakness has been there forever is even more galling that teams didn't exploit it.

OM look pretty impressive so far

And people were criticising Osimhen, he’d be a quality centre forward for anyone.

Trent looks like he would rather play any other position than RB judging by his positioning till now !

I mean that’s just daft media and online nonsense though isn’t it. Everyone has to be sensational about everything nowadays.

In previous seasons we’ve been good at controlling games which negates the high line vulnerability more.

The state of that midfield, old man Milner and the 5ft 18 year old. Poor Fabinho.

When you think about it, they left Wjnaldum leave, Ox Thiago and Kieta are crocks, why did they not prioritise a midfielder? A big part of their game was their press and energy and it's completely gone.
