Champions League — quarter-finals and semi-finals draw

He's definitely overrated. PSG should've kept Navas for a bit longer or they should've brought in Maignan to replace him. AC Milan pulled their pants down with letting them get Donnarumma and replacing him with Maignan.
Navas is on the bench.

"That's the kind of finish Raphinha did as a kid", says the co-commentator who presumably watched a lot of him at Vitoria Guimaraes.
That was such a weird comment, outside of the boot volley from that kind of ball is one of the rarest finishes. Giggs scored one, maybe against Fulham?, but you rarely see it ever.

Quarterfinals are the best time in CL.

R16 too many mid teams.
Semi is only two games of football (one per evening) which leaves for less overall newsflashes
finals are often rather dull.

Honestly as average as Dortmund have been, Schlotterbeck is by far the worst player, that he literally makes the difference between this being an exhibition and a competitive CL quarterfinal. I´d just pass the ball to his feet as Atletico and run down the 10 feet rebound, when he tries to stop the ball.

The young player for PSG on the right always pisses off chances, he is just not a goalscorer is he?

Same with international tournaments a lot of the time, the peak of the tournament to watch.

Donnarumma can't concede that. That is pathetic

Aah, that's what a good corner looks like. Been a long time since I've seen our team do that

The ball drops in the middle of your goal 4 yards and your 6'6" keeper is stood on his line flapping.

Donnarumma has been an absolute clown today.

Hide your goalkeepers, PSG is getting a new one soon

Don't know who to support want both PSG and Barcelona to lose.

He'll probably fall on his arse and give away a goal now, but Araujo looks like Van Dijk with Kyle Walker's pace out there. Incredible defender.

Dortmund goal. Haller was buoyed by Sancho's mere presence on the field and inspired to score

Aleti missed a couple of really clear chances and now Dortmund discount

Not watching but has Donnarumma not playing well for PSG?

I just don't think he's a technical goalkeeper like the likes of Onana, Ederson, Raya, etc. and you need that in modern football, especially for a possession-based coach like Enrique.

My comment didn't have anything to do with his performance tonight, it was just a reply to the poster saying he's overrated, which I agree with.

In my opinion, PSG signed him 3 years ago mostly because of him being a huge name with a great reputation. If they had any sense, they would've looked for a better keeper, who's also good on the ball and with their feet: Maignan is a PSG youth product and Milan got him for 16m euros in the same summer that Donnarumma went to Paris. The perfect option was right there, and they passed up on him for a bigger name, but worse fit in Donnarumma, but that's nothing new from PSG. Messi and Ramos were similarly awful signings IMO.

They have a really good academy and they could've easily bedded some of their biggest talents in, since they play in Ligue 1 and can win the league without too much of a hassle. Maignan, Nkunku, Coman and Moussa Diaby are all players who could be of great use to PSG, but they let them go at an early age. Similar to how Chelsea just sold off more than a dozen promising Cobham products that could've given them a La Masia 2000s or Class of 92 type of mass integration of youth players into the first team.
