@Tuppet @VivaJanuzaj
I dunno, Lizarazu spent a lot of time shining at left wing-back for Bayern in a 3-5-2. In fairness Marcelo does have a lot of quality on the ball so as a wing-back it's marginal upgrades at best.I think Marcelo would be better than the 69er as a wingback anyway.

As my understanding was cant have played with silva(pick 12)

Yeah. Too many parallel chains make it confusing. I'll permit this. It'll be the sequential previous pick, not previous branch that counts.

I didn't think that would work..Wait, that doesn't make any sense since they're still on the same chain with kahn-lahm to Lizarazu.
Your draft, but seems a bit of a strange relaxing of the rules there.
Any of last 5 can be used to create a new link. Won't make sense to have Lahm continue the old link and say Silva yo be in a new chain. It'll be a new chain for all 5 with sequential pick before.Wait, that doesn't make any sense since they're still on the same chain with kahn-lahm to Lizarazu.

I am fine with it, the only reason I said because of this post -Any of last 5 can be used to create a new link. Won't make sense to have Lahm continue the old link and say Silva yo be in a new chain. It'll be a new chain for all 5 with sequential pick before.
One question though @Edgar Allan Pillow, what happens with the next reinforcement round? Do we follow the picking order or the branches? Point being that if, say, Tuppet picks someone linked to Augenthaler, does he need not to have played with Arbeloa (draft order) or with Reuter (branch)?
1st round 2nd pick continue with the branch, not the original draft order.

Holy shit . That's some quality upgrading going on mate.
Yeah.. he is probably the fav now.Holy shit . That's some quality upgrading going on mate.
Nice! Cheers. Also diarms next pick is going to be awesome.
Yeah I rate Sol slightly higher than Vidic, but they do have the advantage of a long-term partnership with one another. In saying that, Rio and Sol were excellent for England together. The second upgrade didn't really open up for Diarm there, it was all marginal or sideways maneouvres.Interesting. I thought you would go for Evra and move Amoros to the right. Would have suited your team more IMO. Rio-Sol would have been a good pairing as well.

See what Gio said above.. Sol and Vida are about same for me. But yeah on this forum, Rio-Vida will give you a big jump.Rio-Vidic is an all time partnership while Anto butchered Sol in the last round!
Neville is a great defender and there isn't much to pick between him and Evra in terms of quality. Having a top class pair of CB's was much more valuable to me here.
Vidic also carries all that Torres baggage with him, which can be fatal in certain situations.See what Gio said above.. Sol and Vida are about same for me. But yeah on this forum, Rio-Vida will give you a big jump.
Let's hope he does not come up against RomarioVidic also carries all that Torres baggage with him, which can be fatal in certain situations.
Vidic was better than Sol IMO by a fair bit. I think Vidic is extremely underrated in these drafts given because of his occasional exposure against pacy strikers. There wasn't much at all between Vidic and Ferdinand at their peaks defensively, with Rio's ability on the ball the main differential between the two.
I have Sol as second only to Rio in the Premiership era. During that time he excelled at international level probably better than any other defender from the league and made team of the tournament in 2002 and 2004. Very much key to Arsenal's success as well and easily the top defender behind that great team. On the whole though, Rio stands out and the likes of Stam, Sol and Vidic are a notch below.Vidic was better than Sol IMO by a fair bit. TheStain looks to have upgraded the most there by an absolute distance. Two fantastic picks.
Oh, yeah. On it nowTime for draw @Edgar Allan Pillow
