Chain Draft (Main Thread)

P.S. I think we should move this over to a new thread to keep things better organised. I'll let you do the honours.

Sorry, just saw this. Didn't start the thread, as I didn't think the subject would have gathered sufficient interest. Think posters would much rather post all-time XIs than post something less glamorous like this one.

Cracking post @Annahnomoss

Some really top drawer stuff there . Loved the part where he dribbled past his own keeper . Also, how was his overall game like, in terms of work rate and positional/role versatility. I remember reading during my match up against Balu that he was really industrious and he could play as a wide midfielder if need be. Seems like the complete all-round package then.

He played as a left winger for Sweden when he first broke through and did it very well and his fluid playing style and great dribbling meant that he found himself out wide very often and he was comfortable there too. Playing him as a pure winger wouldn't at all be him at his very best, but he would naturally in his best role as an inside left/right provide width for the team when he moved out wide.

I wouldn't say he was really industrious as in a Keane type nor as good as a defensive midfielder, but definitely no push over and he put in a good shift defensively too.

I always felt he was a bit of a wally, this is only confirmation.

Where did it go? It was a great post although I couldn't see that dribbling round his own keeper you mentioned.

@diarm, happy to play tomorrow? I can put my stuff together early in my morning (4 hours behind) and we start sometime between noon and 2PM GMT.

Wednesday would work better for me if that's ok @antohan ? I'm pretty busy today/tomorrow and wouldn't be able to do it justice.

anto... master of double reverse psychology! Little does he know that I'm planning a revolutionary 11332 formation from a time so old, even he doesn't have an anecdote for it! The ambiguous Baresi holding fort behind 8 playmakers and Gary Neville. He doesn't stand a chance.
