This is the irony. All I'm saying is that we haven't received significantly more help from officials this year than United. Then you get people saying we wouldn't be top 4 without them. And I'm deemed the moaner?

But you have my man. But you have. Either through manipulation or through some idiotic decisions there has been a fair few goals that's been got. But to say you wouldn't be in the top 4 without them is a tad OTT. But you can't argue over the fact, whether true or not Arsenal has its fair share of players who go to ground very very easily. Chamakh for example. We've got Nani, he does his theatrics without doubt. But i fail to recall others diving with the regularity exhibited by the Arsenal players.

Actually they add to the flavor of the forum. A perspective other than the one's being constantly repeated is always welcome.

I'm not disputing that they add something to the forum.

I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of time they spend on here is more than on Arsenal forums.

I couldn't imagine spending the equivalent amount of time on an Arsenal forum.

Standards must be slipping if a post containing loads of youtube videos that actually proves the contradictory point is evidence of poster of the year quality.
a) which of the penalties I have posted would you say are definite pens?

b) are you still arguing that the foul on Evans was not worthy of a penalty?

I don't have much knowledge of how other forums are. But from what little i've seen, its definitely more fun in here than in the other forums.

RAWK bans its members for expressing an opinion other than one supporting their club.

So with pisstake, football and pictures of crap everything coming together, if i was a opposition fan, i'd sit here more often than not.

You're using a post from one person, who himself has said he wasn't serious in posting that, to prove a point about getting "people saying" you wouldn't be top 4 without them. Sounds like you're clinging on to the last things you have left in this discussion.

Watching that RvP "blatant foul" vs B'ham again just makes me laugh. That's a shocking dive. How on earth can Alastair call that "blatant"

I wonder how the ball got onto Van Persie's head for his second goal there... Pretty sure we've all been told how average/vanilla Sagna is and how shit he is going forward...

Mysteries of life, eh?

A bigger mystery is why this is being posted in a Fabregas thread.

To be fair it's not hard to cross to your team mate in the box when there is no one marking him ;)

If you could be bothered, and I suggest you don't, you could trawl through all the drivel posted in here regarding how average Sagna is. Or maybe just get Kraftwerker on the case, it was practically all by him anyway.

It's easier to score when no one is marking you... Having 10 players next to him or none at all makes little-to-no difference to the crosser.

Was he even playing during the 2nd half?

I saw him pop up in the 70th minute and forgot he was even on the pitch.

Fabregas reminds me of Torres at Liverpool. The best player in the side but a lot of disruptions because of injury. If Arsenal don't win the league, or even if they do, he might do better to move on to Barca where he has players at or above his level.

Fabregas will go back to play in Spain one day. But as he said 'I still have things to do in England'. There's a sense in which this Arsenal side is his team in a way that Barca will never be.

The Arsenal self delusion continues

He's off the second Barca lodge an acceptable bid. And the closer it is to his contract running out (not a chance he'll renew for longer), the more likely that moment becomes

Well his contract runs until 2015 and Barca can't afford the fee at the moment, so it won't come to ahead for two years.

I thought it ran out in 2014?

Regardless, yes he might be made to wait a year or two, but don't kid yourself its because he has 'things to do in England'. It's because he's in a situation where the club who wants him, and the only club he wants to go to, can't afford what his current club expect for him. And no more

How much of the above do you think would be going through his head if Arsenal accepted a Spanish bid for him? You wouldnt see him for dust.

...

In any case, your quote says 'England', not Arsenal. I'd like to see his perceived loyalty tested with a bid from United, Chelsea or..... City.

Fortunately everyone is reported to be OK, the Police attended, but its not been reported who, if anyone is at fault.

The policeman attending the incident was asked if Fabregas faces any charges, he said "At this stage its hard to say, but Arsenal players will do anything for 3 points"

Not really..

300 games for Arsenal today with a very important victory. I look back and i see so many great things. But i look at the future and i see...

...Even greater things. Thank you very much for making me feel so special all those years. Now i want more. Let's fight untill the end!

He did not look very good against Milan or Real Sociedad in the weekend. While he has the ability to come good, he has looked a bit out of place to me so far in the Barca team, mainly because his off the ball movement is very poor and that is an important component to the way barca play.

Too early to judge but unless he picks up his game a bit, I don't see him starting in the important games once Pique* gets back.

* The return of Pique will mean that Busquets moves back to CM, where he will most likely be playing alongside Xavi and Iniesta with Fab on the bench.

He looked good in the super cup and was instrumental in Barca's final goal.

He looked good vs Napoli playing as a false number 9.

I didn't catch the match vs Soceidad but his ball to Sanchez for Xavi's goal was top notch.

He didn't put a foot wrong against Milan and kept possesion well.

I can see Pep rotating the trio of Xavi, Fabregas and Iniesta alot.

It could upset the chemistry of the team though. It's true his off the ball movement isn't as good as Xaviesta who basically act like flies, but it shall improve under Pep and further training.

Overall I would say he's had a very good start to his Barca career.

Iniesta is out for two months.
