Cesc Fabregas' character and competitiveness

he probably will.

He's got the fight about him. Unfortunately he's an imature spastic just at the minute. He has natural and real agression to his game, and is one of the loudest voices on the pitch. I don't think Fabregas' competitiveness is comparable.

So because Rooney rages up and runs everywhere over the pitch with steam out his ears he's a leader for the future? I would say Fabregas is highly competitive hence not taking losing and even drawing well in games he knows we should be winning. I'm really yet to see a game he isnt interested in playing. Its players around him like Adebayor that decide when they will show up or not.

Do you mean the competitiveness isnt comparable because they act on it differently or competitiveness isnt comparable because Rooney is far more?

Rooney's got far more will to win. I've never seen him give less than 100% in any game. Does everything for the team, a model team player.

Fabregas drops to the ground clutching his face and crying. Rooney's a mans man, or he will be when he gets the now rare diving and complaining to the ref out of his game. He's getting far better at it.

I believe he turned a corner against Roma away in the CL in 06/07. He didn't get a decision all night, but kept his mouth shut because he knew the ref would just book him. Previously he'd have sarcasticly clapped at him like he did in a previous campaign. He only has the odd flash here and there, nowadays.

I reckon he'll be like Beckham, Giggs, Scholes et al. Choose your times to talk to the ref and remain calm during games. Basically he's still a young lad.
