Cesc Fabregas' character and competitiveness

No wuckers cobber!

Anyway i was commenting on how the poster sounded like he was deeply saddened by the event. Where if it was Anderson to Wenger, different story.

I know mate, and I was pointing out that anyone associated with Arsenal shouldn't really have a go at anyone for being over emotional. You know, people in glass houses, etc.

Ok well, no one from United can have a go at anyone that Dives, because you know, people in glass houses :wenger:

Big deal, Ronaldo gets over emotional, so do most of your team and your manager. I can cut and paste too.

I was simply stating your reason for saying Arsenal fans shouldnt talk about people crying is rediculous. Sorry i had to spell it out for you.

Didn't realise crying because your team got knocked out of the Euros/World Cup which the likes of Pearce have done equated to the same thing as crying when your team gives away a penalty to a relegated team.

Or crying when your favourite boss gets hit by a peice of pizza.

Don't think anyone here suggested they were close to tears over a bunch of rumours.

I suggested it sounded like Smashed was from his post. Then old mate had a go at me and banned me from speaking about peopel crying because Arsenal players cry.

Anyway, Fabregas is one of the hardest workers in the team and its affecting his game as he can't play in the free role. Fabregas, Walcott and Clichy seem to be the only ones who want to try and win something most of the time unless its game raising time and the Gallas' and Adebayor's come out from the shadows.

Looks like I touched a nerve. You're not tearing up are you?

viera and flamini made him looked like a terrier. A real tiger when arsenal are winning. He is a fantastic footballer, but lacks fight, leadership, grit, determination, competiveness qualities. His pairing with Denilson showed his true colors.

Flamini allowed Cesc to play his natural game in the same way that Mascherano does for Riquelme or Keane did for Scholes. Since Cesc is Arsenal's best player that made Flamini hugely important to the team. You won't see the best of Cesc until Wenger adds some physicality to the side, specifically the midfield, which means probably not at all. He should have got Mascherano if he wasn't going to keep Flamini.

Will Fabregas ever win the league with Arsenal? I doubt it.

Excellent post. I would liek to point out as well that he isnt near the class of Ronaldo, a player who produces regardless of the team mates

Bollocks he does. There's no proof of that, seeing as the only time he played with mediocre players with us was when he wasn't that impressive himself.

Ronaldo's best attribute is off the ball running, he needs players like Rooney, Berbatov and Scholes to pick out his runs.

People like Messi can produce regardless of team mates because they're always on the ball, Ronaldo isn't.

I'm not gonna slag off other teams because no team is made up of angels.

But what I will say is that throwing a pizza at a manager is incredibly petulant, and if any of our team did it I would be equally appalled.

Are you suggesting Spurs' ambition isn't to challenge for the title? Noone calls them rivals because they're shit despite what they believe. Your team aint much better.

Wow you hve no idea do you? Their ambition so far has to been get in the top 4 along with villa. They were what, how many weeks in when they declared they are in a relegation battle? Think before you speak you tool.

If you are going to start calling people idiots then at least learn to spell first, just so you don't come across as one yourself.

Seriously Christofaux, how old are you? If you want to be taken seriously stop calling people 'tools' and 'idiots'. Oh, and calm down a bit mate, you are obviously working yourself up so much that you are typing too fast. Take your own advice, think before you type.

You're being a bit of an arsehole in this thread... hurting after this weeks reversal in fortunes?

Yeah something like that :(

If you want to be taken seriously you shouldn't talk out of your arse.

By the way, I wasn't arguing a point, I was pointing out that you were getting so worked up that you couldn't type properly, I could be wrong though, perhaps you were trying to chew gum as you typed. Well done on taking the advice. See, once you slow down your fingers move at the same speed as your brain.

If my fingers slowed down to the same speed as my brain ide still be registering for this site ;) .... i actually think im dyslexic when it comes to typing sometimes.

I was pointing out that the fact you think someone can't talk about someone crying simply because the football team they support are 'serial whingers' then there's alot of things that no one should be talking about. You are the one that is spitting crap out through your posts, whinging about spelling and whatnot.

eh?

You can't see that Messi spends more time on the ball than Ronaldo?

I'd say Messi spends more time on the ball than any of Barca's players whereas I would say Carrick or Scholes do that for us.

Different styles.

Ronaldo's certainly gone more direct, but a lot of the time our tactic is just to give him the ball and let him run at people.

The year we won the league again for the first time in 3 years (06/07) he was being refered to as the ball-carrier for our team. He still gets the ball off his team-mates very readily and demands it as well.

Messi and him are certainly directly comparable, and Ronaldo's a more effective player.

Besides, I wouldn't say its muppets surrounding Messi at Barcelona - all top footballers the same as at OT

Wow, seriously, wow!

You do realise your calling me an idiot right?

Hey, hey. Well done mate, I can't slip anything past you, can I? Quick, call Choo-Choo, Fancy-Fancy, Spook and Benny the Ball and let them know you have been insulted.

Good sense of humour you got there Christo, we need more of that on the caf... people that can take a joke.

Maybe Henry taught him this trick?

dive or pure idiocy - you choose..

Great example for all the young kids watching..

Another clutch to the face, when the opposition player did nothing.. I mean it's Heskey, come on, he may be big but he ain't violent.

1 of the most blatant dives you'll ever see.

Arrogant little boy, who can't take losing..

I like the rolling around after the "foul"..

What was that about Wenger calling his players "brave", I don't see any bravery in these videos.. More like conning/trying to cheat the referee.

Cheat, diver, or just an "innocent" football player, you decide....

1) Took a hand to the face, Ronaldo has done far worse
2) Idiocy... tripped himself, doesnt look on purpose. Referees fault if a foul is givne. Can i remind you of the Rooney 'i dived to win a penalty' against Arsenal.
3) Was having a go at a whinging ballack, nothing wrong unless that was him spitting in his face then he hsould of been sent off and given extra sentance... given that he was in the number 15 he was what? 17?
4) Pushed in the back Ronaldo has done far worse. How about Rooney at Tottenham?
5) Blackburn kicked us off the pitch
6) Elbow to the face, Arteta said he would of done the same. Still abit over reacting.

Those videos are no where near shock and horror.

Those videos are no where near shock and horror.

While I agree that none of them were shock horror, you can't honestly believe that that justifies what he did to Mark Hughes?

What told him his game plan was strong arm tactics?

Fabregas also went and apologised shortly after (reportedly)

Since when was this about anyone but Fabregas? Spaz

I watched that game

Blackburn are playing away from home against a top 4 team, who were looking the best team in the country around that time. What the feck do you expect out of an underachieving club like them, ffs?

Arsenal (Wenger etc) are actually annoyed when the other team don't give them time and space. I remember a similar game at the Emirates with Middlesborough (the winners) towards the end of last season as well.

Overall, I think Wenger has lost the one player in the team with real bollocks in Flamini over the summer for a few more thousand quid a week. Mistake.

he probably will.

He's got the fight about him. Unfortunately he's an imature spastic just at the minute. He has natural and real agression to his game, and is one of the loudest voices on the pitch. I don't think Fabregas' competitiveness is comparable.
