Interesting that Smalling who apparantly was in a knee brace last week is preferred to Jones who injured his toe on the bench
I'd say inferior to the top 6 (but capable of beating any on their day), but superior to the rest (They would beat Everton, for example if both teams were at their best).
A defense that has conceded only 3 open play goals since March 16th(11 games)???
Same for me, Had lingard as sub10/11 if it wasn't for Lingard I'd have had 11/11 three times in a row!! (probably)
I for one welcome our new goalkeeping overlord. I have faith in Romero. Like you say he hasn't done anything wrong all season.People reacting to Romero as if we've put a amputee in goal. He's been in goal throughout the competition and he's hardly put a foot wrong.
Why the shock?
Sisto? The Midtjyland one?
edit: it is
What's our win percentage with Fellaini AND Lingard starting?
This. Someone will always moan. No surprises in the side if you ask me.I get the feeling people would moan whatever team we put out

Other than Roncaglia in for Fontas that is their typical Europa League team. Well rested in the league and good record in Europe.CELTA VIGO TEAM
Starting XI: Alvarez, Mallo (c), Cabral, Roncaglia, Jonny, Wass, Radoja, Hernandez, Aspas, Sisto, Guidetti. Substitutes: Villar (GK), Fontas, Diaz, Bondonga, Beauvue, Jozabed, Sergi Gomez.
Lingard's won me around the second half of the season but I don't think he's done enough to warrant a start.
Just had a thought .. remember when he was given the number 7 and seemingly wilted due to the pressure? Hope same doesn't happy with regard to captaincy.Great to see Valencia captain, well deserved. Just a shame he can't speak English.

Watch Romero's games and while I don't believe any have cost us this season he's made quite a few really bad decisions.
I am not IKO about DDG just reading between the lines and one of those lines is he's not starting in our biggest game of the season.
Give it another 15 years.
Yep.No biggie about Romero, I expected him to start since he has started all the matches so far but if we make it to the final, is Jose going to start him ahead of De Gea?
Think you are making this up.Current defense, man. Blind is not very trustful in the Cb position and will need the midfield to continuously drop deep to support his lack of pace.
Nice recent upturn there to focus positivity on.04 PL: Man City (H) 1:2
09 EL: Zorya Luhansk (H) 1:0
13 PL: Chelsea (A) 4:0
47 PL: Middlesbrough (A) 1:3
48 PL: West Brom (H) 0:0
49 PL: Everton (H) 1:1
50 PL: Sunderland (A) 0:3
52 PL: Chelsea (H) 2:0

Still watching the league?
I tuned off some games ago. Gave up completely on the top four race. It's like the team is cursed in that competition. No more crazy emotional roller-coasters for me.
Going to enjoy the rest of the Europa League though. I have a good feeling about it. Money is on United to lift the trophy.

Yeah, 11 goals scored and 2 conceded in the last 6 games they started together.Nice recent upturn there to focus positivity on.
Strange.
Standard fair weather fan behaviour.Strange.
Going off your other post, you believe it to be because he's not starting our "biggest game of the season". When in reality he's not starting in a Europa League game because Romero has been our number 1 in the competition thus far. It has absolutely no bearing on whether or not De Gea is staying or leaving.I've not claimed to be IKO, I just believe it's already a done deal and would be amazed (but delighted) if he was here next season.
