Danny Masterson: Ex-Girlfriend Bobette Riales Accuses Actor of 'Repeatedly' Raping Her
It is not undeniable. That case was riddled with holes.
After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter. I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains.
You mean like when he admitted that she didn't consent?
That is the most legally protected comment ever. There is no admission of guilt in that. He says he understands how she feels how she didn't consent. That is different from saying "yes, she didn't consent and I had sex with her regardless".
He admits that she didn't consent...he had sex with her (where he strangled her) without her consent...he raped her.

Very bad read. Fan of Anzari's work on Master of None, he actually touched on these kind of topics in the show by showing the dating world from women's perspective. I can understand someone making aggressive moves after a date but there is no excuse for some of the stuff mentioned in there. I can also see this getting significant coverage in the press given the woman in question has given detailed account with some "evidence".

It's bad- https://www.usatoday.com/story/life...hristopher-plummer-unless-he-paid/1026347001/Not exactly related, but anyone here read about Wahlberg and Michelle Williams pay dispute? Apparently while Scott, Williams and other actors that was involved in All the Money in the World reshoot hardly got paid for the extra work, Wahlberg reps negotiate millions dollars worth of extra money for the reshoot. Now Williams had publicly stated that she'll do thr reshoots for free.
I am hardly a Mark Wahlberg fan, but if someone wants to get paid for extra work, then that is surely his own prerogative? Especially when he got nothing to do with the decision to reshoot the movie
I feel terrible for the poor girl. It's actually very common for women to face this type of behaviour from men. Two female friends of mine have told me they faced this kind of stuff whilst on dates when men didn't know when to stop and continued to kiss, grope etc even when they were told no.
Even more crazy is that most of Ansari's shows and stand up is based on dating and his dating life and how blokes should behave with women and how they should be nice and all that. That article is repulsive.

The article is uncomfortable, but it is misleading. At no point did she say no. She gave him oral sex twice! He seems like a douchebag who just wanted to get in her pants as soon as possible, but I'd be more damning if she says, "no I do not want to have sex" and he continued.
Personally, I lose interest at the slightest hint of non-interest from a woman. My motto is, there's always Pornhub.
However there is some sense of infantilism here where the expectation is solely on men to read minds, and the idea of a woman saying no to unwanted contact is absurd.
Again, if a woman goes down on someone, unless she says no or indicates so otherwise, the implication is that more may happen. If that idea is crazy then just enact an affirmative consent law. The Dave Chappelle skit of signing a contract (imperfect, as consent can be withdrawn at any time) comes to mind.
