He's going to say no.
This thread has already peaked. He'll be a big help in our relegation battle to be fair.
He's already said yes, which is why Madrid are looking to sell himHe's going to say no.
Our fans were upset that we didn't go for himThiago at Liverpool is 31
I wonder if their fans were complaining about his age when they signed him and complaining about the fit
It doesn't matter how old they are as long as the team is functioningThiago at Liverpool is 31

No you're not but people here seem to dismiss any argument based on watching actual games from Real Madrid week in and week out. It's either "he's too old" or "he's the best DM in the world", very few asking the real questions about how he'll fare in this disfunctional team without Kroos/Modric when he showed pretty big sign of inconsistency in la liga in the past 2 years and mostly forgettable performances with his NT.
El Chiringuito TV?He's already said yes, which is why Madrid are looking to sell him
He was going into a well oiled machine in Liverpool and even then it took a season of adjustment.Thiago at Liverpool is 31

MeAnyone else getting "get the feck in" vibes

How do you suggest you change a dysfunctional team without adding new players to try and make it more functional?
Ten Hag has realised how important a DM is in the PL. The club are trying to get him the best they can.
In this particular case - indeed. The only other player in the world who may be considered even better as a DM (if better at all) is Kimmich, who is not for sale anyway.Ten Hag has realised how important a DM is in the PL. The club are trying to get him the best they can.

Madrid don't like selling their legends, the fans don't like it, but they have a great track record of moving them on in recent years and it makes it a whole lot easier for them to sell him if they say "he wanted to leave", so they gave us permission to speak to him, we offered to double his wages, he then went to Ancelotti and said he fancied it, and here we are negotiating a fee with Madrid. Source was Mitten.El Chiringuito TV?
They are not stupid. Why would they want any of our deadwood? Can we try and do a cash + player deal?
£40m + VDB would be a better deal than straight up £60m cash. We have quite a lot of players we could use.
Personally I'm shocked that the best we can do is arguably the best in the world
Would imagine Fredinho as well
We are in absolutely no position to question anything at this point. Just get the players inHe’d help us for sure but £60m for a 30 year old midfielder is all a bit bonkers really.
feck it, i just got back. Di Maria is physically/mentally weak, Casemiro is about the opposite. I really can't see him failing or losing motivation here, unless we continue this shite show for long, which would make everyone losing their motivation playing for us anyway.
Is also a fair argument. We are in absolutely no position to question anything at this point. Just get the players in
It looks like it. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but it's not that outlandish
Barca just paid 50m for a 34 year oldHe’d help us for sure but £60m for a 30 year old midfielder is all a bit bonkers really.
Thanks for posting this.Maybe it's just me but I like his attitude on the pitch. He commits every time I've seen him play, and he doesn't seem to be troubled by much. He just goes about his day tackling the ball off people and doesn't take shit from them.
I think it says alot as well that he and Dani Alves have had their fair share of the captain's armband for Brazil.
Also, this article from The Guardian two years ago shows what type of person he is...

Funnily enough, same article...
