Someone please tell him we don't buy the refs here and they fecking hate us.
Except the situation is that he has moved to England and been sent off twice in a matter of weeks so what you think makes sense is less important than what actually happened.Given that that the Premier League is far more forgiving of physical confrontation than the Champions League, La Liga or Premeira Liga, I'm not sure that argument really stands up. Someone making the opposite journey with the same problem would make more sense.
Anyone's leg can bounce of a ball. Hope we appeal, we have nothing to lose.

I don't know what the reason is for it. It could be the pace of play meaning he dives into a tackle like today, it could be he's getting wound up because he has a different position in the hierarchy of the team so he feels he has to lash out and grab someone. I don't really care I just know the outcome and I just want him to do his job. Which generally he has, but it does rely on him being available for selection and he shouldn't be above criticism for situations that cost us points.
Actually no. His foot deflected off the top of a ball. Wouldn’t call that a red even for Andy Robertson.I thought it was a red myself. It was a stupid needless challenge and if that's a Saints player on any of our lot the opinions on here would be very very different. Too much bias.
I do think we should have had a pen though so we can still feel aggrieved.
Jumped into the tackleNever a red. Same as the one before. Hilarious he went his whole career never receiving a straight red only to come into 'the most physical league' in the world getting two in the space of a month.

He got a fairly substantial part of the ball. What do you mean he barely clipped it? And he was side on when he made the tackle and was not really any more reckless than the one on Garnacho. That's not the rules anymore though. He barely clipped the top of it. It was pretty wreckless.
You'd not be saying this had that gone against us.

Jumped into the tackle
we all know it gives the ref a question
Mate that’s a lot of text when the simple answer is, he jumped into the tackle with studs showing, yes those are often given red cardsI know he should have probably be more careful considering the area of the pitch and that refereeing in EPL is inconsistent and shit, but that's never a red for me and even if it's not United I would feel the same. There is no logic in it as players often do take the ball with their studs on the ground cleanly and it's not a problem. Here he gets the ball, but his leg bounces from the ball and hits the player (the collision is actually because Alvarez also makes contact with the ball which prevents Casemiro taking it off cleanly with his challenge). He doesn't even hit him hard after the bounce and the Saints players aren't screaming that hard for the red. To me, this goes against the spirit of the game. Or we can just forbid all such tackles? No, we will punish only freak incidents like this? Makes zero sense.
On top of it, the referee sees the incident clearly, thinks it's a yellow and then goes to the tv with an isolated clip where they just show and slow down a moment after he hit the ball and his leg bounce of it to make it worse. Where is the clear and obvious error considering that the referee already punished the incident? Absolutely ridiculous imo. And then, on top of it, he doesn't whistle a clear penalty with the handball.
I agree with you buddy, it’s a bitter one to take, because he does get a lot of the ball but if that’s against us we are screaming foul playIt was. That's an absurd comment too. Garnacho challenge was a fair clean tackle. That's just how he fell that looks to have done it for him.
Too much frustration today on here for fans to be objective. It was a horrible challenge from Cas. You watch the pundits (if there are any tonight) and they will all say it was a red I'm sure.
We definitely should have had a pen though.

Or, he makes the tackle without giving away a card?100% red card if you look at the still picture.
25% red card if you look at what actually happened.
I feel like with another ref he would get away with it, but this one was happy to give cards for a bit of meh tackles.
He definitely needs to be smarter though. Maybe he pulls out of this tackle and they score. So what?
No it's not. I watch quite the other matches and basically you could see at least one like this a week. Sometime it's a yellow, sometime it's a red, sometime a foul, sometime not even a foul. VAR or not.Ah, right. Because that's a straight red every time.
I've heard it all now. Going in studs up over the ball directly onto a players shin sometimes isn't even a foul! Ok mate!No it's not. Less than even 25% IMO. The ref made the right call on field only to have his mind changed by Andre Marriner (VAR ref) Taylor then chose to ignore a few penalty shouts with Marriner sitting on his arse not switching on VAR.100% red card if you look at the still picture.

I do think we should appeal though.
Well the Garnacho situation wasn't even a foul, I thought catching a leg in scissors is also dangerous situation ( both this and Casemiro tackle were unlucky). But apparently it isn't.Less than even 25% IMO. This, both reds were ridiculous, and neither should be held against Casemiro. Results like this make me realize most of our fans are fickle morons, 2 weeks ago these were the greatest players ever, a couple fluke results, one the result of poor reffing, and now their all bums. You lot need to pipe down. Both reds were bullshit, there’s an agenda against him or United. He’s a victim in all of this. Direct your negative energy elsewhere.
He’s looked knackered recently and his passing has been very sloppy in the last 5 games.
Never a red card.
If he played for Arsenal or Liverpool it wouldn't have been given.
