I think players like Casemiero got severely underrated due to most of the credit going to Ronaldo, Ramos (flashy personalities) and sometimes Modric. I’m guilty of that - never really saw his quality over the years if I’m being honest

Yes, superb RB, but you have guys like Marcelo who has a strong argument to be seen as one of the best LB's ever, Pepe was a monster CB(even better than Varane IMO) Ramos a superb leader, Cas is one of the best DM's ever, Modric a Balon'Dor winner and one of the best midfielders ever, Bale who might be among the top 5 British players ever, a Balon Dor winner in Benzema and then Ronaldo as the tip of the spear?

Won 11 out of 13 finals in his life. That is like 90-80% win rate? Crazy record.
If you think back to the dark days of last season, there was a banner up one game in the Scoreboard End with pictures of Keane, Eric and Bryan Robson and the one word message “standards”. For me, Casemiro epitomises those standards.

It's like playing with two DM's, he's our 11th and 12th man. I can't get over how good he is, and we've seen some cracking players over the years.
