Carrick out for four weeks | David McDonnell sucks

Feck sake the last thing we need is him being out for a stretch. Didn't this happen the same time last year and coincide with an awful run of form

That could be the end of him at United :(
edit:Is it four or one?

We just can't catch a fecking break can we? Jesus..

So literally every single one of our players are picking up injuries, yet people here thinks we should just flog off our defenders for being 'injury prone'.

Don't know about last season, but this season we were shit when he was injured. Our good run started exactly when he returned, I doubt it was a coincidence.

Unlucky after coming back from a 5 month layoff not long ago.

Not sure we'll miss him in his current form, mind. I'd much rather see Blind in midfield rather than Carrick, although he's probably one of our best defenders now!!!

Blinds our closest player to him. But not even that close.

Don't care, Blind is good, Carrick wasn't good lately and we might see Herrera play a little bit.
Or more likely Fellaini will play every game, next to Mata or Rooney.

Surely the only light out from this dark and sinister news is we will see more of Herrera? or felanny :(

So this a good thing, as Herrera might play more?

I feel another big injury could see the end of Carrick at United, two big injuries in twelve months, approaching his mid-thirties and the emergence of Blind could have resulted in end of Carrick’s time at United.

Four weeks out is a different matter.

Ffs.

We really are destined to never see a Carrick/Blind midfield are we?

So, the only player who wasn't injury prone over the last few years has become injury prone under van Gaal. Great.
I think it's time that someone at the club admits that we have sold our soul to devil, and that it's turning against us now, there is no other explanation.

It's never a good thing when a player is injured, but we can't cry all the time, I will try to see the glass half full.

Oh well, that means Anderson can make his final appearance.

Given the number of muscle injuries that happen in training, not sure Carrington would meet OSHA standards for a safe working environment.

These are the games he will miss:

Manchester United vs Leicester
Manchester United vs Cambridge U
West Ham vs Manchester United
Manchester United vs Burnley
Swansea vs Manchester United
Manchester United vs Sunderland

And the next FA cup game (should be beat Cambridge.

Or the fact that there's something going wrong in training/prep/rehab?

Would certainly explain how Fergie won number 20 with such a mediocre squad.

I thought that was the reason too, but I really can't understand how 3 different managers all had the same problem.

Don't have a clue myself. It's been a long term problem to be fair, our squad size was always pretty obscene compared to other top clubs - just to cover for this kind of shit.

We have to justify the expenditure on those fancy new scanning machines at our medical facility.
