It's ironic because I live about half hour away from Cardiff and tons of people who live around here and the surrounding area support Cardiff instead of their actual local teams.

1-0 Rooooooooooooooney!
 Indeed.

Cardiff fans support their local team, but they really don't.

Val is far from his best.. but atleast he is looking more decisive and less ponderous..
Doesn't just get the ball and stop.. then turn back

Good ball by Valencia, Rooney did well to turn.

Of course the worst commentator on Earth has to take a jab by saying "the man who probably shouldn't be on the pitch scores". Bellend.

Watch Tyler now scream if Cardiff score.

Keeper would have got to that if it wasn't for the deflection, poor weekend for defenders.

The game is too big for this ref, Dean would have sent Rooney off straight away.

Rooney got frustrated and said sorry, fair play to the ref for not sending him off.

Probably because it is controversial, regardless. We should've been down to ten after seven minutes

Oh, I certainly agree United are lucky. But when they are, it is certainly hyped a lot more than for other clubs!

God I might have to turn the commentators off, its going to be 90 minutes of "Rooney shouldve been sent off", isnt it?

Did the cardiff player get injured? No, thought so. Not enough serious to be after Rooney like you are.

The reason people are so angry at Rooney is he put virtually an entire game at risk by doing that and giving the ref almost no option but to send him off (which the ref then utterly failed to do). At least that's how it is for me.

We are going to be hearing about the Rooney incident all fecking match now. I may have to mute the commentators.

Well he's right, isn't he? Stop being so precious.

That Cleverly shot was going miles wide, he's so shit at hitting the ball.

Nonsense. Clear red. Got very lucky/ ref bottled it
Yeah, but I feel the ref understood it was more frustration and that Rooney said sorry immediately. He should get cred for not sending a player off after 7 min.
