Carabao Cup 2022/23

Hey, Armstrong didn’t score the goal. Burn did. By the law we saw against boro it should stand

Newcastle look like they’re going to play their first ever game at the New Wembley (excluding the Spurs away games).

Co commentator is having a mare here. In what other industry can an expert not know the laws of the game?

That's how crazy the handball rule is. If it comes off burns knee it's a goal, if it's his own knee it's handball :wenger:

just say it's hit his hand and leave it at that you pillocks

Harsh but it was his own leg. Had it hit the defender's leg, it would have been a goal.

Oh well. We’ll just have to beat Newcastle in the final then.

I dont think that’s true. Don’t forget it can be ruled off for handball on its own without the directly led to a goal bollocks

This lot will soon run out of luck.

Every game they get some fortunate thing go thier way.

It is true. If he controlled it with his hand then burn knocked it in, it would be allowed.

It's only disallowed if he scores it himself.

As you switch from Bayern vs Köln and Lazio va Milan to this game you get a massive quality drop… The insane money in the PL should buy us spectators more pleasant football than this.

But if it comes off his hand and it's heading towards the goal before it hits Burn's knee it's still offside because it's not an own goal.

This Newcastle side reminds me a lot of us under Ole in his 2nd season. They should definitely make a move for Maguire.

Isn’t that for basically accidental handballs that aren’t given under the laws? VAR can still make decisions on actual handballs?

Football fights are always so pansyish. You never see someone throwing a proper haymaker or doing a senton bomb or anything fun.
