Gaming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Got damascus a few days ago and absolutely ruined my k/d in the process. :lol:

First COD I've picked up since Bo2 and it's a blast. I recall the ol' Mw2 days when I was a trickshot-master, hadn't even reached puberty yet at that point. Played claw and everything. :lol:
 
Kinda wish there was a way to compare weapons stats right next to each other rather then guessing which setup is slight better.

One of my mates, who is usually a sniper. Picked up a few dead peoples Graus and annihilated a few people. If you have that bit of decent accuracy, it lasers people for sure. I've tried a few times and I'm not accurate enough compared to my Bruen. Defo needs to be in the right/more accustomed hands.

It's even the same with SMGs, MP5 or MP7 is the most go to weaponsif you read around - but the P90 works so much better for me.It's well worth playing around with a few guns to find your style for sure.

Heck - even some of the guys streams I watch, are now saying the Kilo 141 is Grau 2.0 - people will flip flop based on what decent players do rather than do a bit or practice.

Also got up at 7am to set the update going, 84GBs - but of course Activision now say it's an error on xbox showing that big a download. Bastards.

It’s good for sure. M4 and m13 are on par with it though. M4 is best at closer range, m13 at longer, Grau is best in between but more recoil than the m13. TTK shows that I believe and I’ve confirmed it in use.

Some would argue the Kilo and RAM 7 are up there as well.

I’ve gone back to the m13 as even less recoil with the headshot multiplier is just a beast for me.
 
The Kilo is actually a great gun and severely underrated. I used that exclusively for months however, after switching to the Grau, the reality is, it's just better overall. Absolutely lasers people at mid-range. Also id recommend people try the MP7 at close range, people drop so fast.

I might try out the m13, never used it. Been using the Grau for last few weeks since I won with my first attempt using it.

It's great. Not quite as powerful as the Grau until 100m. After that it beats it. The headshot multiplier is where its at though and it's so easy to hit on a moving target even while holding the trigger down and hitting their upper body first. I've also seen people mention the flinch effect it has, but I don't know how they're comparing that to be honest.

Iron sights are also really good, although the Grau's are slightly better. I'm gonna try a VLK on it today though.

I find the GRAU much better than the M4. Must give the M13 a proper go.
 
yay definitely didn't need that extra 4GB of space from the already massive file.

Let me know how you get on!

My set up is mono/marksman barrel/ranger foregrip/60 mag/rubberised grip. Max control, velocity and range. ADS is still very good with no optic but gonna try swapping out the rubber grip for the VLK today. Might affect the ADS too much.

I'm not mad on any optic so stick to my iron sites, although i see some people's Grau's iron sites look better than mine, presume it's a blue print gun.

What is headshot multiplyer? Quicker to kill with headshots than other guns?

Yeah. I've taken a few potshots at some guys and been pleasantly surprised to see them croak it because it hit their head. The Grau's irons change depending on the barrel you choose. The Archangel has amazing sights. Can't remember what the Nexus is like.

It's all about the bruen mk9 and if you're clever with attachments it's a monster at close to mid, basically a assault rifle but with a 100 round mag.

Doesn't work for all but worked for me and a few others:

Pause the download, click settings next to pause and scroll to the bottom where the download speeds are, cap it at 50kb. Restart the download then give it a few seconds to reach the cap and then set the cap to 100000 and pause/restart then I got my usual speeds back. Changing region on the globe next to the game usually works too but didn't for me this update.

Love it. Can easily afford to drop to the 60 mag rounds as well, it's brilliant. Mid to long range it's damage is just immense, especially when throttling the trigger - you dont need to spray much. Even without mounting it's recoil is virtually non-existent. I have a VLK on it plus the usual mono suppressor, heaviest barrel, 60 round as mentioned and ranger grip, so it's handy for spotting stationary snipers - or those who tend to hide in the hills around trees. Down them quick and allows you to continue firing or to reposition. Damage to chest buff at close range compared to ARs also helps out when I'm not getting a headshot early.

If I dont get a second loadout in the game, I just run with a looted silenced P90, as they are everywhere, in secondary for the really short range battles. That's what works for me these days. It's brought my KDL from 0.48 to 0.71 in a short period of time.

Basically same set up as mine although i do sometimes go with no stock with no drawbacks in accuracy but improvements in mobility. Like you said you can take on multiple targets at once. I took down a trio simply by hammering one till he died then jumped round corner and get shooting from hip to kill rest. With 100 mag it's too many bullets for some to fire back at.
 
Enjoying these changes! Just got a win and a 2nd in 3 games of duos. Shot a supply heli down in the win and got loads of goodies.
 
First 84GB update, then I’m ready to play today - 1GB xbox update. Then load up CoD, server queue.....bollocks to all this
