Bundesliga 2017/18

For those who follow Bundesliga, how is Muller performing this season? He seemed to go through a terrible spell from the Euros through the end of last season; I remember the home match against Madrid last season in particular where Muller looked so off the pace that it almost felt like Bayern were starting with 10 men.

It got better under Heynckes and he‘s up to goal/assist every 120 minutes again in the Buli, but something is still a bit off. Maybe he misses Pep, too.

I´m Liverpool, I´m throwing €50M at Leverkusen for Bailey to replace Coutinho. That kid is ridiculous.

Since Heynckes arrived... he is back to his decisive self. Even on the right.
Without the two matches he started as a CF he is on a goal/assist in the league less than every 50 minutes and overall 61 minutes - all but one of his goals or assists where important.

If you tell that this is still a bit off I really want to see him when he is on...

I‘m going but what I see and for me he is not at 100% of what he was at his best.

Hamburg is going if they don't beat Koln surely? 5 point gap to likes of Mainz and Stuttgart now after the results today.

15th place is enough and they only trail Bremen by one point, despite losing to Cologne currently. The relegation battle is quite good this year, there aren't really any teams that are utter shit. They all at least have a decent organization and good transitions.

edit: Cologne 2 up now, they might really have a chance of staying up - incredible!

They will get one leg for 50m, i would even say he is the best Bundesliga player at the moment.

Hamburg will never relegate. Surely Gisdol will be sacked after this.

Sure seems like Hector being present or absent makes a massive difference for Köln

It's not just Hector. With Terodde they finally have someone who can actually score a goal and they seem to have that bit of luck in key moments that was completely missing during the first half of the season.

Surely this time we´ll get them. I had Cologne and Freiburg locked in with the HSV once again doing his annual play-offs. With Freiburg´s miracle recovery over the last 6-7 games (how f*cking well it this small club run) and now Cologne putting up a fight, surely this is the year.

I think Bremen will pull clear as long as Max Kruse stays fit. They were starting to win a few and then hit a run of games where they had Dortmund and playing Bayern Munich next so they just need a run of teams above them I think.

Hamburg's still got away games in Leipzig, Munich and Dortmund.

As expected, Gisdol just got sacked....who could be Hamburg's next coach? They seem to be equally poor at picking players and coaches...

Bit like Malaga and Michel...every week I caught the Hamburg game and was amazed Gidsol was still in charge after they lost the previous week.

Hamburg are in the same cycle as many bottom half premier league clubs...appoint a firefighter manager mid season when they look dead and buried, they somehow keep them up and then the club feel obliged to give them the next season.

Only problem is the club is broken so said manager can't lift them up the league.

Think Hamburg has finally ran out of luck, last season they only stayed up because they hit an unbelievable winning run in home games post January. Don't see the same this year.

They waited until Coman signed that contract extension and now they stop playing him once they are no longer afraid they will lose him.
They need to start making him their number one winger considering the age of Robbery.

Right now there is only one match a week - and both Robben and Ribery come back from injuries. We need all three wingers in top form in the coming months. Coman will for sure come in for one of them.

MÜLLER!

What a cross from Boateng, and some great composure from Müller who was targeted by two defenders!
