Bruno Fernandes | United not interested due to doubts over passing ability

Looks okay. On the other hand Sporting’s RW, Raphinha is probably better than anyone we have on the right.

Been pretty quiet for a while regarding Fernandes, whether to City or to us.

Someone's obviously got it sewn up now. I'd tentatively suggest we have a tendency towards being unusually cautious about announcing transfers so the fact that no-ones made a statement could be a good sign for us.

Not really at least not in Portugal. Yesterday the media reported Ole requested United sign Bruno and made him one of his main targets (according to newspaper Abola).

City are more interested in finding the right replacement for Fernandino. They have enough attacking midfielders.

Sporting still has 2 games left vs Porto, last match of the league and the Portuguese cup final (25/5).
So i doubt (or hope) anything would be announced before that.

To our resident Sporting fans, How good is he? not talking about goals/assists but in terms of general play.

According to Ornstein he won’t be signing for City.

His full game on display here.

He’s exactly what we need in midfield. Play him next to Pogba & put a destroyer as DM behind them, we shouldn’t be lacking in creativity. The long shots & set pieces are bonus, good to have to breakthrough a team who has great day in defense.

Completely guessing, but I reckon everything has gone quiet on this because he was going to be Pogba's replacement, and we now believe Pogba will stay.

@SportingCP96 any updates on this transfer? Seems to have gone completely quiet

Sporting vs Porto cup final in a few hours. Most likely his last game for the club and a chance to leave by lifting a title. After his heroics in the semifinals vs Benfica, it would be huge if he leads us to a second title this year.

There’s still the Nations League after this so you might have to wait until after that ends to get some news on a transfer.

It’s pretty much certain that he’ll leave.

Thanks for sharing this. We need this player on our team. He looks like he can do everything on the pitch (reminds me of scholes).
No problem! People always asked about the rest of his game and this was the most complete video that showed everything.

Feeling more and more that I'd like him. He and rabiot, plus longstaff for a total of about 70m would be great business.

........ Fernandes.. Rabiot... Pogba....

With Fred, mctominay, matic and longstaff in reserve. Huge improvement in the area without huge expense.

Agree, hope we are in for him

That midfield wouldn't work. Fernandes is a #10, attacking mid, just like Pogba. If we get Rabiot to partner Pogba, we definitely need a more defensive minded player/energetic box to box around them (Herrera...).

But no whispers that a deal is already done and they're just waiting for the end of the season to announce?
No nothing at all right now. Like I said I am almost certain after the cup final all the news will start flooding in.

70M? How much is Fernandes said to be going for now then?
