I believe in patients but there is only so patient we can be until the point we start falling further behind our rivals
It was a bit tongue in cheek. Personally I don't feel like I have the right to tell anyone else how they should feel about United (or about anything really) and if you're dismayed about us post-Fergie and concerned about our near future you're in good company, we're all in that same boat.
However for me at least I always want to go into new seasons with optimism, so this time I'm excited about our more energetic football and seeing the likes of Greenwood, Gomes, AWB, Maguire and James in the PL. Recycling the same old stuff about the Glazers, Ed, the lack of a DoF and prophesies of Ole's imminent doom isn't for me, I'd rather enjoy the football, have a laugh and have only the occasional vent when things have gone poorly.
On topic I've liked what I've seen of Bruno, and it would be a smack in the face to see him thrive for Tottenham after we've scouted him last year then seemingly not done much this summer, given we've denied being interested. But again I'm not going to moan too much as I don't know the ins and outs of the player or his situation.
None of them really need a player in that position this summer (although you could argue Utd do) - I think that is the main issue.
So it seems Lukaku may be flogged to Inter so why not get Bruno with the money from Romelu?

No he hasn't. He reported the Maguire deal to be done before the English journals started saying we are considering alternatives, got dybala right throughout, and if we get Fernandez, he will have had a great summer

But unless Ed has an amazing poker face it seems that he has not even heard of Fernandes let alone bid for him. The Maguire stuff, well loads of people reported that done before the briefs about us looking at alternative targets, it took forever but it was obvious we would end up buying him. So far as Dybala goes I will concede that but as an Italian source you would hope his Juventus stuff was close to accurate.
He did also claim we were close to Pepe amongst a host of other players that we actually don't appear to have ever put a bid in for. On balance he may be doing ok with other clubs but his United stuff has been 90% fiction this summer.

I don't think he fits Woodward's criteria. I mean if sporting agrees to sell then there is a real risk of him accepting to join us
