Did I miss sarcasm in your post or what is this fake news about? Ever heard of Cristiano Ronaldo or Bernardo Silva?

Yes, you missed the sarcasm. Unless I have missed the sarcasm in your post. And then these posts would go on ad infinitum.

Cheers! I was going to say I'm not down with the kids anymore but apparently the song was released in 2000 when I was 14 - so maybe I was always old and lame.
It's a shit song so you didn't miss anything. :D

Woodward is a joke

This deal should have been sorted in December and he should have signed 1st Jan!

Who opens negotiations on a player, you clearly want to buy 16 days after the window opens... potentially losing more vital points in the meanwhile etc.

United to make Champions League, need to win with the best players, the Wolves games clearly showed how weak we are... especially in midfield.
I'm not sure you've really been following this if you think we only opened negotiations today.

Where are you from that you don’t know the lyrics to 7 days let alone not even know who Craig David is?
Hungary.

The song's Wikipedia page says that it lost out on the award for best single to Robbie Williams' Rock DJ and I know THAT song. So maybe it's more like a genre thing rather than location because having listened to the song now, it's about as far from what I'd generally listen to as it's humanly possible to be.

having him play tomorrow and risking injury is beyond stupid.
That’s Sporting’s choice and not ours, I would suggest. It looks like Bruno is available after the Lisbon derby and not before, certainly not for an amount of money that makes sense. Perhaps that’s what Sporting have had the agents working on, finding a buyer for £x amount after the derby. I imagine we asked how much it would cost to have him before the derby and it was either a disproportional amount or they simply weren’t willing to sell.

If I were United I wouldn’t really pay an extra £5m to have him sooner either.

Wasn't he from Rio Ave?
He came up through Sporting academy, played 20+ senior games in a single season at Sporting, and was snatched right after Sporting's game with United in 2003, when he, at age 18, tormented our defenders on the field.

In a nutshell ;
Portuguese league is crap as evidenced by Lindelof being its best defender
Goalkeepers have no hands and are blind
He’s got a goatee
He kicks doors to pretend he’s hard, not hard like Keane who finished the career of everyone
United
Redcafe
Eboue

... and his name's not Madisson or Grealish.

oh I know, just meant it's a risk by them. If he tears an ACL or breaks a leg, that's a lot of money gone ... I get it's an important derby and, let's face it, chances of injury are the same as always. But still, why risk it if you need the money?

If a deal has been agreed and its a given at this stage, its mad United would be happy for him to play tomorrow vs Benfica. But thats peak mufc negotiating today. Clowns. Like a previous poster mentioned, alot of United fans will be watching that praying he doesnt take any proper hard hits.

Knowing our luck at the minute, it will literally be worse case scenario. Bruno does his ACL / Lingard gets a new contract.
Stuff of nightmares

Perhaps or perhaps Bruno won't play vs Benfica at all, but still attending to training sessions to keep himself fit.

Last summer Dybala was in a bag, so we don't really know what's happening.

Maybe just maybe Sporting was asked something too. Don't moan just for the sake of it.

Come on, keep up, even I know that!
I never even heard his name before! I mean, I might have. It's the most average name you can think of, really. Doesn't exactly stand out. I never listened to 50 Cent in my life but the name's easy to remember.

I did an impromptu survey among friends and two never heard of him, the third said he was "some singer who had a famous song about 20 years ago".

Im just going hypothetically speaking on what has been widely reported.

*IF* any deal has been agreed and he does play, im just saying 9 clubs out of ten i dont think would be happy to take that risk. Most selling clubs wouldnt even play them if they had already agreed to a transfer.

But as @Van Piorsing mentioned, we dont know what the apparent deal is, if any, so could be any reason for the delay

Look at that smug face.
Wouldn't you look smug after wrapping up deals for Fernandes and Soumare whilst getting £100m for Lingard off Napoli?

Sporting Versus Benfica game on at 9-15 pm. on Friday night. He will be in the stand on Sunday watching the game against Liverpool. Hopefully all done before the game with Burnley on Wednesday night.

Whose bright idea was it to give our new star signing the go-ahead to participate in one of Europe's most heated derbys?

I'm looking at you, Ed!
