How the mighty have fallen. We can expect a relegation battle next year.
 
I wonder how the club are gonna spin this now if he does goes to Barca then off to Valencia on loan. Im beyond angry & frustrated at how incompetent they are at getting shit done. We literally shouldn't even be sitting discussing this right now, it should have been wrapped up a long long time ago. We are DESPERATE for creative midfield talent, no ifs or buts. If we dont bring in anything and choose to settle for what we have, its game over for the season, wave goodbye to top4, or anything meaningful at that. We currently are one of the most beatable teams going. Beating Tranmere prob has them thinking we are great.

Dont expect anything any different in the summer guys.. Maybe just higher fees being thrown around, for english players we prob wont get. Will be given the old BS excuses about 'not being able to do deals in a major tournament year'.

After this City game, Saturday at Old Trafford is gonna be toxic as fck. Im not looking forward to going. Ole doing himself no favours sticking up for the shower of useless c*nts above him. Only a matter of time before majority of fans have had enough of that too

They are obviously counting pennies for a reason. Maybe there is no more money for blowing wildly like the club has done on Sanchez, Pogba etc.

Maybe the Glazers have set a limit to spend. Or maybe Woodward is just totally inept.

This club is manically depressed at the moment.
 
I don't believe he's coming to us or Barca. Not buying this latest rumour of him going to Barca and then on loan to Valencia. He will be a Sporting player till the summer now.
 
One more thing, Barca with Frenkie De Jong and co, Signing another CM. I’m not sure we need to panic, at least with Barca, most likely a negotiating tactic by Sporting.

For that very reason United should actually pull out the transfer. If you are serious about not letting clubs bully you, you have to go out and mean it.

That's just how it is here for the most part. All positive news is rubbish and made up crap, but negative news, even if spouted by sources such as The Sun and Daily Mail are gospel truth and were doomed and useless etc.
 
Even if Utd are not planning on keeping Ole too much longer, Pochettino is probably watching all this and thinking "Fck that.. Im not going there with them jobsworth above me".. Would be career suicide!

Perhaps I’m being naive, but they would have to complete his transfer now to to loan him from now until the end of the 2020-21 season.

Even if it were the case, I assume they still want Rodrigo for 60 million, which still begs the question, how are they complying with FFP?
 
Why does this always seem to happen, we chase a player all summer or winter window and the last few days a Barca, Bayern or even Chelsea just come and pluck the player out of the blue.

We're a joke of a club right now.

Does anyone actually know of the paper in Spain that's reporting this? It's not one I've actually heard of, and all others seem to be referencing this source too?
 
Barcelona were interested in Eriksen before he ended up signing for inter earlier on today. Funny that.

Like how I would probably mess up a lot of deals on the stock exchange because I know nothing about it

My guess is because its rubbish and they know it is haha.

Its ridiculous to think a club would buy a player just to loan them to another club so they can buy a player from them? Makes no sense at all
 
This makes absolute sense. Could they resign Sanchez and loan him to Valencia too?
 
I'm hoping the Barca story is true and they sign him, will once and for all put an end to this boring Bruno saga and be a slap in the face for Ed and Utd on how to not conduct your transfer dealings.
 
Seems like there might be something to the Barca deal with the reports of him then being loaned to Valencia for the rest of the season because it could also be part of the deal that sees rodrigo going to barca?
 
I hope Woodward and the Glazers look forward to Saturday if he ends up going to Barca. What the hell is wrong with them?
