He's been absolutely fantastic the last few games, the move to central midfield is something Amorim should have realised earlier.

MOTM yet again.

His goals and assists will steal the headlines of course, but for me the best part was his defensive work and build up. It looks like he's been playing in a midfield two his whole life.
Yep, he was great going the other way as well and decent positionally as well as putting in his standard heart exploding level of work

He's been brilliant since Amorim took over (and before, but especially since he came in). Perfect for the CM.

Play him in midfield he makes goals. Send him forward into an advanced role and he scores...

...What a terrible problem to have.

Forget Amorim saying we need him at 6, 8 and 10. We'll be much better off once we boot him out of the club in the summer.

He is carrying the team on his shoulders. Everywhere on the pitch, wins duels, solves problems with huge composure, adds creativity and quality in attack. Can not ask for anything more from our captain.

he's growing into his midfield ball. Sharp on the ball, picking decent passes before opposition can reach him. Dont wanna call it a shade of Scholes because he's way more erratic but plays pretty similarly last few games there. Just need to get some superathletic player next to him. Collyer or Ugarte maybe too poor on the ball but can work. Possibly Kone in the future could be a gem next to Bruno.

Talent wise, as well as productivity, is he edging towards getting into a conversation at least to being in United PL XI?

He may not be blessed with the team mates, but he’s a fecking marvel at what he does. Imagine his numbers with a Rooney in front of him, a Carrick behind him, or a Giggs to the left?

Superb again.

That midfield picks itself really.
He's a very good player though.

Always gives his all and plenty of quality.

We can eulogise him once he leaves. Hopefully he's part of the team that brings us back to top 4 at least.

Keane
Scholes - Bruno
Ronaldo - Rooney - Giggs
Bruno is better than Beckham & Carrick for me, players I rate highly but Bruno is better.

PL players only.

He's really found his non-penalty shooting boots lately. For quite a while it felt like he barely scored from open play anymore.

I'm still not sure what the solution is going forward. Is Ugarte-Bruno really a complete, balanced and long term solution as midfield two over the course of a season, for a team that should be finishing top 4 minimum?

If we get genuine attacking talent at wing back and the other two spots in the front 3, I think he may get moved to one of the #10 positions again at some point as a facilitator for the pace and runners that we have around him. But it would take a real quality central midfielder signed to make that move worth it for the team.

Maybe it was reverse psychology all along and Keane's comments were meant to motivate Bruno.
Not at all, Keane was playing up to his USP as a talking head.

Undoubtedly Keane was a great captain, in a club that at the time had an embarrassment of talented players, leaders on the pitch and off it and as far as we knew at the time very well run.

Bruno on the other hand has a completely different situation to Keane, one that Keane has no experience dealing with, and on top of that Keane didn’t have the responsibility of creating and scoring goals.

Bruno was our best player before Keane’s on character comments, and continues to be afterwards. The whole team had two improved games that’s all.

31 G/A in this Utd side and it's only March.

He's incredible. We're so lucky to have him here. From the second he smashed that free kick in against Everton he's been sensational.

You've got to hand it to him, he's been on a different level the last 6 or 7 matches. Hope he continues in this vein of form, we might actually be able to make a stab at Europa if he keeps this up.

That must've been one of his best games of the season, even without his goal and assist he'd still be my MOTM.

No. Keane's comments were bitter, petty and utterly unjust. Bruno's form prior to Keane's odd outburst was perfectly fine beforehand anyway
One explanation I heard on a podcast was that Keane just hates on United captains because he thinks they're not as good as he was and hates the people who he feels replaced him as captain. He pilloried Maguire until he lost the captaincy and then he lost interest and moved on.

Not really. He hasn’t got a chance of competing with neither Rooney nor Cantona for that number 10/supporting striker role and Scholes & Keane are immovable in midfield.

Although that says more about the level of his competition rather than about Bruno himself. He’s been a brilliant signing.

Would Bruno get into the 99 team?
Definitely. I just wish we had the players around him now that could make a difference instead of relying on him all the time. It's coming together, though. Next year is our year and all that.

I remember watching this clip

No offense at all to any of our players but I just the thought of having a striker in his prime, making those runs with Bruno.

He is sensational at "seeing the pass" as Robin talks about there.

I can say with absolute certainty Bruno would make SAF post Ronaldo (first time round) first team 11.

I'll never know why SAF never sorted out the midfield between 2009 and 2013.
