Simply our best player today. Our match going fans seem to really love him they were chanting his name all the match.

That’s as good as he’s ever played. Completely dominated the game. Don’t think he put a foot wrong. Deserved a goal.

It's a shame he didn't get a goal or assist but that was one if his best performances, outstanding.

Fair play to him, has been instrumental today and didn't seem to put a foot wrong. Game was pretty frantic though and Nottingham didn't offer much. He thrives in those situations.

Didn't score or assist? Average player. Won't be missed in Seville.

Am I doing this right?

Love the way he's playing since he dropped a bit deeper, he's involved in everything good we do going forward deserved a goal at least today

He seems to be playing a much more effecient and focused game recently with much less of the wildness that can be so frustrating with him. Wonder if it was moving deeper, forcing him to be more responsible on the ball that has changed his mind set?

Hopefully we can beat Sevilla without him, but silver lining is that he'll be fresh for Brighton. So so good today.

I'd take him playing like this with way less "production" over the gunslinger with numbers that plays like an idiot. He truly was "World Class" today without having to put up the production, and it showed in the team performance as we basically didn't give Forrest a sniff.

Very unlucky today. His shots were saved twice onto the post, then another good save, and he missed a free header too. He also created a lot

Having played the amount of minutes he has, that performance was nothing short of astonishing. Incredible athlete and so important to our team.

It might be crazy to say given how inevitable and how much of a production machine he was for us early but I truly believe that this version of Bruno is the best one we've had so far.

He's shown everything in his locker these last few weeks when asked to change positions and looks as well rounded a playmaker as there is in the league.

He's taken to the deeper lying role like a hand to glove and it's allowed him to showcase his mastery of the midfield. He's also been good wherever he's been asked to play

Careful now. @Stack will tell you he isn’t world class and is just a poor man’s Frank Lampard.

What a guy, can't wait for next season when he doesn't need to hand Maguire the armband.

What a player!

I think there are valid arguments over whether he's truly "world class" to be fair, but today's performance was undoubtably so. Just pointing out that I'd prefer matches like today to be used as an example of his class over him getting a goal and assist while playing with the discipline of a school boy. Today was a proper midfielders performance and didn't require all of that "risk taking" that people always try to defend in his game when in reality it's bad decision making.

Long may it continue

He didn't really have way less production today. 2 chances created and 6 key passes is a massive outlay. A lot of the difference between today and other games of this season imo comes from the fact that Forest had a ton of problems covering Eriksen, Antony, Sancho and Martial and that if they focused Bruno the way a lot of teams do, they would immidiately have a ton of problems elsewhere.
Most players on top level look much better technically and more intelligent, if rest of the team provides them with a lot of space.

I meant production in the sense of G/A, not chances created etc. Was more in response to some other performances where people will excuse away a poor game because "he always manages to pop up with an assist" or something similar.

"Bruno Fernandes and Lionel Messi are the only two players to have scored 50+ goals and provided 50+ assists across all competitions in Europe's top five leagues since Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United."

World class midfielder does world class things, again. Will quote this again in two weeks.

How much would it hurt you to say Bruno has been the best player on the pitch? Because that's what happened

Give me 5 minutes to quote myself real quick

He absolutely was the best player on the pitch, but I don't think he controlled it in the sense of how Eriksen controlled it with his accuracy and calmness. But again, Bruno was the best player on the pitch and deservedly MotM!

The "other" Bruno is polemic and polarises the fanbase. This Bruno, playing in this manner, there's no way the consensus won't be overwhelmingly positive because it is consummate midfield play.

He was fantastic today and has been one of our best players this season.

I've noticed the last 4-5 weeks. You can't say he's good and leave it at that, it's always in spite of something. Just accept he's our best player, you were wrong and move on

Only David De Gea has played more minutes for Man Utd than Bruno Fernandes in the Premier League this season. Astonishingly, Bruno has played almost twice as many minutes as Antony.

Exactly this. If you don't want this Bruno playing every match in your team, then you've just made up your mind about him and nothing can convince you.

There is a significant number of caftards exactly like this.

Lads. There’s only one Bruno.

He’ll have his ups and downs but even on his off days will still usually be the most creative player on the pitch.

When he plays like he does today he’s one of the very best players in the league. If not Europe.
