He is not the problem for this United. Works incredibly hard, actually contributes going forward as well as in pressing etc. You can't sell the entire team and buy a new one, doesn't work. There are plenty of players who you can sell before him in order to get money.

Some people on here should be showing their appreciation (not slagging him off). The man's carried us since the SAF era. He'd get into the City/Liverpool/Arsenal squads and should be considered a utd legend when his career is over with us.

That’s the best pass I’ve seen by a United player in ages. Huge performance in that first half - composure, quality and leading the press.

What a shame. I will miss his condescending posts and weekly references to Bruno's performance in the 7-0 vs Liverpool.
Is there anything going on here? Or is it just contract shenanigans? Looks like we have him till 2026 and wouldn't mind having him around for another two years after (he'll be 32/33). He isn't super reliant on his athleticism so I'd expect him to continue similar to guys like KdB.
Think we’ve got an option for another year too. So from the club’s point of view there’s no rush to give him a new one but understandably he wants to earn more, considering how important he is to the team/club.
If he plays closer to goal as in from attacking midfield to striker then I think we can get years more out of him. If he’s running around all over the pitch losing the ball and freaking out then I see him losing his spot and coming under major pressure in the coming seasons. He has to be managed better. Class player but he can’t do it all himself.
