Television Brooklyn Nine Nine

I would never of known there was two episodes last week if I hadn't read this, so thanks

Good to see Pimento again, he's OK in small doses rather than a weekly character. It seems to me that they're preparing for the worst with B99, I can see it coming to an end with the wedding & Holt becoming commissioner.

Haha. Yeah agreed aout Pimento.
Also would hate if this show is cancelled.

BTW Holt remains the greatest. Check this out

The League? That was great for a good while but tailed off at the end. A lot of it was ad-libbed too. Helps if you're into NFL but not required to enjoy it.
Aah, cheers. I had actually never even heard of it. It was never mentioned in the TV Show Recommendation thread either. Will try watching a few episodes to see if it is something that suits my useless palette.

The first season leans heavily into the fantasy league, IMO it gets much better after the first season. Basically once Rafi (Pimento) becomes a recurring character.

Absolutely love Scrubs. I can put in any random episode (Well except from Season 9 maybe) and know I will have a great 21 mins to enjoy.

Got to watch this League thing everyone is suddenly talking about though.

B99 is definitely one of the best comedies on Tv right now

Yeah Scrubs is class - it's just exactly my kind of humour... I find some of the skits/gags on there to be far more hilarious then they probably are/anyone else does. I recently rewatched it (Season 1 to Season 8) and I had a blast (Seasons 4/5/6 were the peak I think)

The League is great - it's just a show about terrible people being terrible friends to each other... my wife loves it and she knows absolutely nothing about NFL, so I don't think it's required to enjoy it at all.

Absolutely loved the latest episode.

This show is just class.... How can you not love the characters.

No love for 30 Rock?
Its on the list of shows where I can sit down and watch any random episode and enjoy it.

99 is definitely on the list too. Love this show

I hate people. How in the world is this not one of the most successful shows out there? It’s just so damn good.

Different networks, I know but the comedic abortion that is the Big Bang Theory is inflicting its 11th season on the world but gold like B99 gets cancelled after 5 seasons. Mental.

Seems like it would fit right in for Netflix
I would put money on this happening. The show is too good not to be picked up and I doubt it’s expensive to make. The fact Netflix brought back and commissioned new seasons of Arrested Development is a good sign. Heck even Community got an extra season thanks to Yahoo.

I love B99 and would hate to see it finish at S5 but I’m actually pretty relaxed as someone will definitely take it.

Tina Fey was interviewed recently and said she is interested in creating more 30 Rock. She didn’t say whether it would be a new season or a prequel or a spin-off but something is in the works.

WTF.... Why do all these networks make the daftest of decisions. :(

If Samberg wanst to make more, there are plenty of places that will pick it up.

Hulu, Amazon, Netflix.. a rival network..
Can't imagine it being too expensive to make.

Deserves atleast 2 more seasons. Can't recall jokes being repetitive or show getting boring at any point! One of the best comedies on right now, best cast and they decide to cancel it. FFS

Joins the ranks of Arrested Development, Firefly and Futurama as great shows FOX couldn't find enough of an audience for.

As I mentioned before, I had a feeling they were covering their backs this season with the direction the plot was going.

Still it sounds like Universal TV want to produce more episodes & judging by the reaction to it's cancellation, I don't think it's the end of 99. Fingers crossed.

Watched last night's episode (UK pace), and was sat there laughing. Then found out they cancelled it. Talk about mood whiplash:(

Because the majority of Americans are dumb as feck and enjoy shit comedy. Big Bang theory still going is insane, and Two Broke Girls always regularly got more viewers than much better shows. It’s depressing.

Big Bang season 11 got 18m viewers for its first episode, Brooklyn Nine Nine got 2m for Season 5.

I find Big Bang almost offensively shit, but it's hardly difficult to work out why one show was in trouble and the other is getting shit spin-offs.

Joins the ranks of Arrested Development, Firefly

Cancelling Arrested Development is insane. But cancelling Firefly after showing the episodes in the wrong order is straight up a crime against humanity.

But we all agree that the best show, that was cancelled far too soon, is Freaks and Geeks, do we?

This - incredible series sadly cut far far too short.

Stories out there that Netflix, Hulu, TBS and NBC have all already expressed an interest in picking it up. Pretty sure it'll find a new home.

Will be great once its confirmed, but good to know
