He is a free agent and wouldn't cost us anything, but could provide cover similarly to Owen a few years ago. He has goals in him and his style wouldn't be that affected by his age - he is 34. Also I think he would be well suited for LvG's possession style of football - holding the ball up top and releasing players from midfield or wide areas. On top of that he has been here before and is familiar with the club.
