Get Donny on! He should’ve been starting this game, Pogba carrying on his shite performance from last week.
I don’t event think they even bother to watch the game anymore. These Pogba posts were probably drafts and they’re just hitting “post”. Bruno having a nightmare but it’s Pogba they’re banging on about. Rashford pure invisible man, not even a mention.
you have to ask then why we don't do that to them or why we didn't to Palace last week. the fact is we aren't good enough and as ever Ole has no back-up planThe issue is that when we do finally get the ball out of defense (this is very difficult) we push it too Pogba and Bruno and they have 4-6 Brighton players surrounding them. They can't pass it to anyone as they're surrounded so they're forced to take players on. Their forward line and midfield are playing very narrow and swamping Pogba/Bruno. It's clever tactics as it's suffocated us.
Change of formation required or we continue playing into Brightons hands and hope they get tired.
We have very good individual players, far superior to most teams in the Prem. This will get you by most of the time. Momentum is also crucial in football, Bruno coming in changed our teams attitude and the way we played and it worked for a few months. But once that runs out and teams figure you out that’s when you need some assistance from your coaching staff.if 'not being coached' whatever you think that means gets you 8 month long unbeaten runs more teams should try it
You sure about that?...We should never play so shit with so many good players....
That's the most infuriating part - knowing that the board and even some fans seemingly believe that those are proper "United-standard" players.Really hope I live to a day when bang average English players like Rashford, Shaw, Maguire and AWB will no longer start for a club that really wants to compete.
The first 2 maybe as good back up but the latter 3 are imperativeYeah there is no doubt you can make a case for a signing in maybe five positions
LB,
DM,
RW,
CB,
ST,
Really? I don't remember a single mistake from him in that first half, very good in position and tackling.
That Lindelof is not the problem today as he's had a good half?
Ref needs to start giving the seagull shaggers some cards for their tactical fouling.
Does Bruno giving the pen away (and subsequently creating the equaliser) exonerate Pogba from the game passing him by as usual?
Christ I thought they had let a homeless man talk on the half time show then I realised it was Tim Sherwood. Holy moly, how was he a top flight manager, you can't understand a word he says.
Exactly. Rashford was poor last week and exactly the same this. Bruno took 30 mins to get a pass rightBs. Bruno and Rashford has both been called out.
we look appalling. it is a mystery. my best guess is that we are and will continue to be a team that benefits from confidence and momentum. we have gone on two sensational runs and 2 appalling runs under ole so far, rarely seems to be the inbetween... at no point last season did we show 4th place form, it was 9th place form followed by 1st place form for the final 40% of the season.Credit to Ole for setting the team up right with Bruno. Doesn't mean he is still doing a great job now. These 2 games they look like they are playing together for the first time. Can you tell me why we are not pressing and why we can't seem to play at all against Brighton?
Because our manager doesn't have a clue, he's come back from covid with no preseason or fitness. An actually good manager would bench him and start vdb and ease pogba into the season, ole is doing the exact opposite. Why is Pogba playing at like 30%
but it's why we don't win enough. you can't consistently rely on a moment of brilliance from someoneWhat Tim Sherwood said is spot on. We don't have a system or any shape. That's why we lose possession and our movements are terrible.
He also is spot on that we have the players whose brilliant individualism will win matches and this has been the reason why we win matches usually.
What about West HamSouthampton really did a number on us with the 2-2 a few months ago. We’ve never recovered.
Valencia was really good. Underrated player.Watching AWB makes me miss Valencia
i mean, it really was both of those things8 months unbeaten run! Sounds much better than what it really was: a 14-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Matches after Southampton... that’s proving my point? What about West Ham
And Seville?
Lindelof stats from first half:
4 interceptions
4 clearances
1 tackle won
1 blocked shot
1 aerial duel won
what does it mean? ole isn't a good coach? it is repeated so widely on the forum and so literally I have been wondering for the last few weeks what people are suggesting, they always say 'we havent been coached' rather than the coaching is bad
Our midfielders would love to know as well, I'm sureI would love to know what Ole’s instructions are - particularly for our midfielders.
Yes, but not Lindelof no chance imo.Brighton has hit the post twice and the bar once, our defence as a whole has been poor today.
