That his defensive partner had a poor half...Piss poor again. Two good crosses from Bruno is the sum of the 45 minutes. Making Lllana look world class - mind you, he's been better than Pogba. Asked this dozens of times last seaso and no doubt will again this season: what is the fecking point of Paul Pogba: just like last weekend all he has done is give away fouls.
Rashford has done close to nothing and Martial fairly anonymous. I'm aware the service has been piss poor but I don't think we can afford the luxury of both in the starting XI: need a top-class finisher.
Lindelof and Matic have been reasonable. Other than that... shiteOne of the poorest first halves in a long while. It’s good we don’t trail them yetWell, that's been dreadful so far, thank feck for a nice set piece.
Pogba and Fernandes have both been poor but... so half the time either of them is on the ball, they have literally no options to pass to. Each of our players seem to exist in some huge bubble of their own, miles away from teammates. There's so little movement and especially understanding between them.
If someone manages to make a good run - mostly Greenwood or Shaw so far - then we might threaten. But there's basically no build-up.
Oh, and one more thing: I've been harping on for ages that we should only sign players who are comfortable on the ball. Look at Wan Bissaka: we basically paid 50m for a footballer who is quite bad at, y'know, playing football.
