Brentan Rodgers

So Brendan denies this crisis meeting to not show that their team was actually being shite, now they've beaten a championship team (barely) it was all true and it has inspired the team to struggle to break down a team a league below them. He's so fecking egotisical it's unreal.

He really annoys the feck out of me, his constant praise when it is undeserving fools nobody. We can see when your team plays awful, when players let you down. Just admit it and say you know what needs to be fixed or something. They were not "outstanding" last night by any means.

I've started watching that Being Liverpool program from a few years back, not enough Brentan in it. He comes across as an absolute prick, when even others come across pretty good.

I probably won't stick with it cos 6 hours of their shite accents is too much though.

I just think they have found their level :D

Did Brendan think the attitude of his players were t'riffic and that at times they were outstanding last night?

I didn't bother watching the post match interview.

The whole "Being Liverpool" series is a must watch, it really is - it was such a brilliant time for them to make it: it started with them sacking the club's greatest ever legend Dalglish, bringing in Rodgers with the cameras following him around on his first day and with many segments of him sitting back in his office dishing-out his wisdom in his magnificent style, a poor pre-season where they lost a much hyped (in the series) game in Boston the home of their owners, the Sterling incident in the video, the envelope speech, Carragher being subtitled, losing the opening game of the season to (I think) West Brom, Skrtel making a terrible mistake against City costing Liverpool the win, and then the finale of that awful transfer window when they failed to sign fecking Clint Dempsey who went to Spurs on deadline day.

It was a tremendously entertaining piece.
I don't know if i'm allowed to post it here but i found the whole series of this "Being Liverpool".

Does anyone else find him very likeable? He always comes across really well when interviewed.

Oh dear. You've done it now

I don't really feel one way or the other about his personality. He's a bit boring, to be honest.

Edit: Damn you :nono:

Just kidding he's a massive bellend who talks business speak bullshit and is massively up his own arse.

Ahh white text.

He keeps licking his lips during his interviews and I think that makes dry lips worse.

Just give the man a drink, it's all I can focus on when he's on.

It's like he's been eating a packet of cream crackers before he does every interview.

With the host of top managers available in the summer, and their likely destination to be the PL would Liverpool consider sacking Rodgers?

1) How many do you think are available?

2) Assuming you mean Klopp, and possibly Ancelotti and Guardiola, none of those three would go near Liverpool.

I think they'll stick with him, barring a terrible end to the season. If he can secure 5th with a respectable points total, he'll be fine.

I wouldn't completely rule out someone like Klopp. He's evidently a guy who likes a challenge, which Liverpool would provide. Unlikely though, but not completely impossible either.

I'm pretty sure Klopp left Dortmund because he knew it was a road to nowhere with Bayern being around. Why would he move to a similarly positioned club? In fact, you could argue Liverpool are in a worse position than Dortmund - there are four teams which, by next season, will be way beyond them. Going to Liverpool wouldn't be a challenge, it'd just be plain masochism.

He manages the same way I did on CM 01/02. If the game is not going my team's way, make haphazard changes to the formation and instructions. Rinse repeat until something works. (Usually this doesn't.)

I think Klopp might. Was listening to football weekly and Honigstein was saying how Klopp would like CL football but he may not get that option, and Liverpool is a club that he fits, rather than a Man City

That's quite an incredible stat really, bearing in mind our perception of Liverpool is that they haven't won anything in about 25 years :p

It's not the first time they've gone 3 seasons without a trophy for 50 years. It's the first time a manager hasn't won anything in his first 3 years at the club. Benitez didn't win anything in his last 4 years at Liverpool for example.

They must be actually on their worst run for lack of trophies ever. They've won one league cup in nearly 10 years.

Klopp also said England makes sense as his next destination because he can speak the language a little bit.

This man needs us more than ever right now. Rally around Brendan. Show him our support. We can't let them sack him.

They mustn't get Klopp.
