Reports today that Arsenal are putting him up for sale - surely more clubs than the big two in Spain'll be interested, although Barca will surely be the favorites.

Would Fergie post Pizza-gate consider it do you think?

Exactly the type of player we need.

No chance.

Think he'd go abroad, and if he stayed City and Chelsea would just throw money at it...stupid crazy money.

as if arsenal will sell him to us, he go back to barca....

Why on earth would they put him up for sale when they've already got a very interested buyer who wants him regardless of availability?

If he's sold it will be abroad, almost certainly to Barca if they still want him - which I can't see why they wouldn't. It'll just be a question of how much.

If he was available? Sure he would, he's no mug. I **** it would require alittle tapping up but I don't know. It's hard to imagine what Fabregas thinks. I mean, Arsenal haven't been serious challengers for ages. Wouldn't it be 'worse' for him to go to Chelsea then us? City? I can't see there. The only certainty is United are the best club in England bar none and have been for sometime. He could go abroad but not sure Barca could afford him or want him and he wouldn't go madrid. I can't see Italian football being that interesting...

Our Cv over the last five years speaks for itself. Pizzagate was years ago when he was still a kid

Because Barca are taking the piss with the transfer fee. Not that we'll be signing him, he's already said that he won't move to another English team, and there's no chance Arsenal would sell him to a title rival.

To try and get a better price

Anyway there is only one club hes going to, so its all a bit pointless

Alan smith said he'd never play for manchester united and I think that was a FAR more doubtful move. The fact he was a leeds fan/leeds kid... People say alot of things. I mean who would have seen Torres move to Chelsea, inspite of liverpool losing their status...stranger things have happened. Sometimes if there is an advantagious angle, people take it.

I don't want him either, as good a player as he is.

He's an horrible little cnut in my opinion which is good enough reason not to want him at the club.

Also, lets be honest. He's going to Barcelona, that much is obvious.

There's no chance. He'll go to Barcelona but Arsenal might accept a higher offer to drive price up a la Spurs accepting Man City's bid for Berbatov or when we accepted Barcelona's bid for Beckham only for Liar 23 to refuse to go anywhere except where Adidas sent him.

No thanks.

Last season, played 36, goals 19, assists 19
This season, played 35, 9 goals, 17 assists (in all competitions)

He is 23 years of age, is absolute quality, has years of Premiership experience, so em you wouldn't want a player with his productitity, because.....?

It will never happen though, but to say that you wouldn't take him is absolute nonsense. He is a twat at times, but he would be a cracking signing.

Dont care if he is the living incarnation of Pele Maradonna Cruyff Best and Duncan Edwards, dont want the horrid whinning cheating little cock at all. Ever.

Do it.

I don't care about what anybody says.

DO IT.

:wenger:

I admit, I might be still slightly biased. However, I can stand Fabregas so would struggle to take to him should he join United.

I probably would though, I'm a football fan and we're all fickle really.

Not United material.

I think Sparky Hughes is being unfair.

In terms of the way he plays the game, I have absolutely no complaints about Fabregas. He certainly dives and whines to the ref a lot less than Ronaldo. I also know for a fact he's an absolute gent off the pitch (a friend's girlfriend is a novice Spanish football journalist, living in London, and he's been incredibly generous to them on a number of occasions)

He's acted like a prat a few times in the immediate aftermath of demoralising defeats and that's about it.

To replace who?

Mate if we could add him to our midfield? It'd clearly be a great move and Scholes might be retiring at the end of the season not to mention we're needing Gibson/Anderson to step up and Fletcher to recapture his form. People talk about his behaviour, but I think two things. The first is that look who he's learnt from. Wengers no angel and I think quite immature at times. The second is how frustrating it must be, to have won feck all for so long...he's 23, he's probably mega frustrated - especially as Barcalona are going through a great time in their history and he's been emotionally mindfecked by arsenal to ignore them. However it's all speculation anyway, but I think it's obvious Sir Alex would have an interest. He wouldn't let a pizza stain get in the way of making a correct decision.
