Possibly one of the worst reactions I've ever heard from Old Trafford.

The word 'embarrassing' actually seems apt.

If the result is the same, I expect a lot more booing at the end of the game.

Also it isn't the worst. Giggs used to get booed around 03-04.

Not surprising is it after the performances this season.

I don't understand the logic of it. The team is playing shite and needs inspiration and the crowd boos. How does that work?

unacceptable. Nani was terrible, but booing your own is a twat's game

I don't honestly have much sympathy for them. Not saying I'd boo, but they're paid extraordinary well to perform an acceptable level and they haven't done it this season. Jogging down the line or slowly walking off when we're 2-1 down is unacceptable

I'm more pissed off with our performances than the booing.

THis.

What is the response supposed to be if a player is lazily strolling off the pitch when the team is down?

I think a lot of people are missing what happened. Booing before halftime was at ref and Stoke players being cnuts.

Booing Nani was because he was strolling off the field when we were down a goal.

I hate booing, it's just fecking pathetic.

There will be plenty more of it if our form continues.

Unacceptable. Nani played poorly and walked off, but he shouldn't be booed. He's a United player.

He shouldn't be singled out. Nani does deserve a slap for ambling off the pitch though. We lacked urgency today and Nani's ambling off the pitch kind of summed up the whole match.

Cheering doesn't seem to work this season, maybe the fans are thinking the players need a wake up call?

Do you really think they need to hear the fans boo to know that the team isn't playing well and the fans aren't happy?

Slightly agree. He looked like he couldn't be arsed.

Surely it's understandable that he's a bit disheartened at the massive cheer when his number's been shown up on the board? I think he was just a bit shocked at the reaction.

Pathetic stuff from the fans.

It wasn't just when he walked off. He was booed in the first half as well after his one hundredth shot from deep went off target.

It was pathetic. Even worse booing Nani off. Whoever joined in that shouldn't be a United supporter. Disgraceful.

Nani didn't deserved to get booed. Without him we would probably have not scored the first goal. Pathetic from our fans.

Wait a minute. I thought our match going fans are the 'true' fans according to some on here.?

75K inside the ground, how many of them do you reckon booed him? You get idiots on here and you get idiots inside the ground.

Shameful from them. We expect better. If we are to turn a game around we need all the fans on our side, not booing like muppets. I hate when they decide to target one of our own players as well. It's not as if everyone else was playing to their ability.
