Bonucci - Juventus player

Me too I would as it means that Tuanzabe and the likes won't have to wait too long and will get chances as a player nearing the end of his career will need rest as well.

That's my exact thoughts too. Allow the younger players like Tuanzebe and Fosu-Mensah to settle in and gain more first team experience over the next 2 years. Not only would those 2 learn from Bonucci, but so would Lindelof and Bailly

Even though Bonucci appears to be on the decline, he is still better than any CB at the club currently.

I think so too. Actually, it is objectively true he is considerably better than what we have and the levels he's reached have been far better and more consistent than we have. I think a lot of people are thinking he is on the way down because of his recent move to AC Milan but allot of factors are involved. In any case, him on the way down is still a level above what we have.

What did Gattuso say?
Bonucci? I spoke with Leo and we have to be honest, tell it like it is. Leo had a discussion with me, but I'm not the club and he needs to talk with the leaders. As long as he is part of the team, I want to see the Bonucci I have seen over the past 12 days: a professional Bonucci, who is the first to lead the group and acts as a great captain. Then it will be up to Leo and the club to decide but I hope he will stay here because he has a lot of talent and a great mentality. I think that when a player expresses a wish, the coach has to do his best to convince him to stay and think about the pros and cons. Indeed, we must clearly understand what the player wants, sit together and deal with it correctly.

The guy is a legend!

Though i am fuzzy on how this supposed transfer with Higuain will happen. 16m for loan, then 32m more to make permanent, some millions shaved for Bonucci presumably. Looks like an italian money-laundering scheme really.

Juve had (actually still have) him on their books for 54m. The annual amortization is 18m (over a 5yr contract - his transfer fee was 90m).
Milan will pay 18m for the loan and then 36m to make the move permanent. Juve will not lose a penny on their books.
Bonucci was valued 35m, same as Caldara. The values are fair as Bonucci is 31 and Caldara is 24.
Personally I think this is a good deal for both. Juve get the better defender, who will play another 4-5 years at high level. Milan get a promising one (although I like Rugani more) and they get a prolific scorer, which they so desperately need. And they get him at a good price.

And how is that?
I'm a CPA in the US and this is my job.
I don't see any inflated valuation in this deal, at all.
Higuain will be sold for 54m, which is fair (could have been more as he is a top striker, although he is 30).
