Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

There was a post on Bluemoon saying that no team ever tries against us, but yet every team tries there hardest against City, because "they want to say they beat City"

Laughable

That really is pathetic.

It must really suck to be a City supporter. All your life you just wished that City were more like United and now they have money and a big stadium and getting big money signings, but its all completely empty because they earned fook all of it.

Gifted the stadium by the council
Getting transfer fees and wages paid for every year by your owner who doesnt even support the club.

Now they are trying pretend they have the cup tie aura about their club on a match day like we do. They need to get a clue, noone gives a shit about your poxy little club and they won't until you win the league.

Winning the FA cup is one thing, but Portsmouth did that and look where they are.. oh sorry, must have got relegated cos of too many game raisers up for the tie against Portsmouth on a Saturday.. couldn't wait for it all week. Stupid pricks.

I dont have a problem with City having a good team or that they will sooner rather than later will win the PL.
I fact I welcome a good City team it can only be good for Manchester has a whole.
I do have a problem with stupid City fans that come out with utter shite , to say that teams don't come out and try when playing us is just crazy , they are only where they are now because some bored bloke with a shed load of money he cant spend decided that City would get the benefit of it.
FFS they have one 1 FA cup and got in the the CL , not anything to write history books about , lets see where they are in 10 years time and see what they have won then.

I haven't a problem with citeh having a good team what I do have a problem with is all of these fans who think they have the best team in the country and think they are the shit when they haven't won anything of real significance, okay so you won an FA cup, big deal get over it now and move on. Come back when you have a league or European title, oh and it is without a doubt the most expensive FA cup ever, what was it £500 million on players to get that one? They are obsessed with us and it's quite sad, me I couldn't really give two fecks what city are doing until we face off in a match but I know a city fan and every week without fail there is at least one Facebook status from him relating to united. He told me once that what is happening at city is going to put them on the level of Barcelona and Real Madrid, fecking delusional.

I prefer our football. Even if United win the league I still wouldn't want us to change from our attractive, intelligent, creative football. United relying on pace and the opposition's fear.

They're not United fans as such, they just want to cling to something successful.

Look at the list of teams they claim to hate, it's no coincidence that it's the teams that have had the audacity to try to compete at the top of the English game alongside themselves and their bent little gang of arseholes.

They're not a football club so much as a self help group for needy, pathetic bastards.

If we start winning then we undermine their whole charade and they'd be forced to change to be blues or kill themselves.

Fingers crossed it's the latter.

I saw nothing other than some good finishing that gives me the impression that we should be even slightly afraid of them. In fact I will be deeply disappointed is Silva, Aguero, Nasri and Dzeko don’t rip these cnuts new arseholes both home and away this season.

Some terrific delusions there.

City fans would be fine to come back when they have won some major trophies WITHOUT SPENDING SHITLOADS OF MONEY. Unfortunately as that is never going to happen they will remain forever a plastic joke of a club, whether or not they win anything

Like it or not city are going to be building a larger global fanbase over the next few seasons. They finally have some well known talented players and will be contenders in the league and maybe europe. The problem is too few people care or know that all of their success will come from middle eastern oil money and financial doping which is the most disgusting part of all of this for me

Chelsea's fan base didn't improve that much inspite of them dominating the league for two years.

Indeed although speaking from Polish point of view, at least they got SOME fans here right now as opposed to having none whatsoever before takeover. Still, I only personally know three Chelsea supporters out of which none have real interest in football i.e. they only watch CL games televised by public sources. Obviously Barcelona have the most fans, virtually all neutrals that I met in 2008 when I went to university have now become die hard Barcelona fans. Even my girlfriend supports them although in all honesty she appears to have more interest in football and knowledge than most of my male acquaintances. :nervous:

It did though. Is it comparable to Utd, Liverpool, or Arsenal? No. But they made pretty big strides in Africa and the States.

It did slightly I reckon. Here where I live, I hardly ever seen a Chelsea shirt. It's always us or Liverpool, but when Chelsea won the league two seasons under Mourinho and were winning FA Cups/League Cups and generally dominating English football, suddenly I saw Chelsea tops everywhere.

The cnuts came out the woodwork right and fast.

Not true. You are telling me, they were will be so many Chelsea fans in India if Roman had not come along?

Yup. I'd never seen anyone in a Chelsea shirt besides at a Chelsea match or when David Mellor was in the news until 2005. I moved to Lincoln in 2006 and the place was full of people wearing them, not a southern accent to be heard. I see them all over Manchester now too since I moved back. They've attracted millions of fans since Abramovich.

I live in New York and most of the english kits I see are United and chelsea followed by some liverpool and even less arsenal. I expect to see some city kits popping up really soon.

For such a key moment in the City story, it has been slightly disappointing that an extensive advertising campaign and reduced ticket prices have not meant a sell-out,

"The benchmark is Barcelona," Summerbee told me. "Can we compete? Yes. We were the last English team to win a trophy at the Nou Camp two years ago. I am not saying we are going to win the Champions League, but you never know. We have got a very strong side and lot of teams will be worried about playing us."

"We were the last English team to win a trophy at the Nou Camp two years ago".

That sums the feckers up in one line for me.

What does Summerbee mean? The last English team to win a trophy at the Nou Camp two years ago??

They won some shite pre-season friendly trophy there I think.

To be fair, United haven't won a trophy at the Nou Camp since '99. Useless!

United and dippers are easily ahead of anyone else in Oz. In fact they are probably very close to us in number because the world class Craig Johnston and Harry played for them. Never saw Chav$ before the Russians took over - now a fair few and have even seen a couple of Berties. Not many but they'll come out of the woodwork. Quite a lot of Mancs here but only recently have any Berties been visible. Even had a bloke down the road from Blackley who was too embarrased to admit his allegiance but couldn't wait to ask where I was from when he was told I was a red. I just said "what's it to you Mr Magoo - just rediscovered your loyalty"? and the accent answered the enquiry.

That's quite sad, I would be happy to do see it myself, Napoli are a fun team.

[edit: I mean, if it wasn't on at the same time as United. Maybe that's the problem, they're all really United fan and have to be home to hate on us live.]

Come now, we all know they are the greatest supported team now in the whole of the country fill up their stadium and every person in Greater Manchester supports them and all they have to fear is Barcelona so they're sure to win the champions league, and then once we we've played them and they've torn us a new one they wil show all other teams that if you try to play against us we're not that good.

They are now offically the new Liverpool, deluded but without any memories of real glory.

I have a driver that comes in work and he was on about how City are going to teach Napoli a footballing lesson and show United how to win in Europe.
Quite where he gets the show United how to win in Europe comes from , god only knows.

This guy is normally a good laugh but when it comes to City he is a grade A bellend.

To be truthful they should dick Napoli (unless Hamsik gets out of his funk ofplaying outside of Serie A games........... mmmmmmmm Hamsik:drool:) Yet they say they only have to fear Barca, arrogance complete and utter arrogance. They should be worrying Napoli then really worrying about Bayern Munich who are great European side.

Is it true that they haven't sold out the CL game?

For a fanbase so desperate for success, I find that amazing. Perhaps they're saving their money to watch their defence of the FA Cup?

Yeah they should but I did not want to tell him that :D.
I would not be shocked if they put 4 or 5 past them.

Doesn't anyone at City think before they act or speak?

Napoli was tied for 2nd best defense in Serie A last year, 39 goals conceded tied with Lazio, behind Milan with 24.

But they lost to Inter 3-1, Chievo Verona 3-1 and Milan 3-0, so City certainly can score 4 if they keep up their hot streak.

I'm sorry, that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

City....going to teach us how to win in Europe??:lol:

I know, it's supposed to be history in the making, if there was ever a game to go to in the last 33 years, besides the FA Cup Final, this is it!

Exactly. If I was a City fan, I'd be desperate to attend.
