Patroness Saint of the anti-RAWKites
As Antony Taylor is allowed to referee our games, I see no reason as to why a Arsenal season ticketholder can't be allowed to chair a case against Manchester City.
Man City is the first club in the pecking order, then likes of Chelsea, Everton etc.
The end is nigh!
Surely the club cannot have been stupid enough for the gravity of these allegations to take place. Or has April 1st arrived early.
In all seriousness however the club have to react quickly.
---An odd parallel I know but at a time when all immigrants from Albania are criminals likewise all financial corruption carried out in the PL is by City - we are the new Albanians
we were roundly accused by all and sundry, including mainstream media outlets, of ‘picking the judges at CAS’
---Murray Rosen was an arbitrator for CAS for years so maybe he's our man!
He is very well respected in his field, I wouldn't get the tinfoil hats out. He'll be a fair judge.
A 10 point deduction for City this season would be pretty handy for an arsenal fan.
---I’d hate that. If we are to win the title (and that’s a big ‘if’), I want it fair and square otherwise it’d be tainted like Verstappen’s so called first world championship win.
If / when we are cleared, the damage is already done. The narrative will be that there's no smoke without fire and we paid them off
I’ve already had the “throw them £50M and it all goes away” WhatsApp from a rag
---We could chuck Luke Shaw at them and crush it
We could be the next Rangers.
Nonsense. Rangers went completely out of business, liquidated, kaput. There are no parallels here and even the worst possible punishments (Relegation? Stripped titles? Heavy fines?) won't see that happen.
What a lovely morning.
But one of my -- let's call him -- "high finance" friends here texted me this this morning:
"CFG are the best run organization in global professional football. Do you think Silvergate invests $500M without a very thorough going-over of all potential risks as well as a complete vetting of the books and finances?"
---What does he think about Silverlake though?
It's impossible to not come to the conclusion that the club has systematically cheated if the charges are true.
6 seasons not including full details of player remuneration in player contracts.
4 seasons not including full details of manager remuneration.
9 seasons of not providing accurate financial information.
And thats just up to 2018, because from 2018 onwards we've refused to cooperate by giving them more details.
---feck me, this makes Juve looks like choir boys
Younger fans will not remember the darker days.
We were refereed to back then as the "Soap Opera Club"
There was always something going on/drama.
Here we are "Still" a couple of decades later.
The Club Blues love to love, and others love to hate.
Jealous bitter feckers.
We all know it is a Hatchet Job.
This will go on another few years yet. Ultimately end up in the High Court.
---Would it be relegation to the Championship or all the way down the pyramid?
Relegation and stripped of titles.
Literally shaking and in shock.
Feel sick to my stomach.
Give your head a wobble
---Chill out. Even if those were the final punishments handed down if we were found guilty - it will take years for this to play out. You'll send yourself to an early grave at this point.
Khaldoon burns down the entire Premier League,Vinnie gets Burnley up next season and they win the PL. This I have seen.
The media are loving this. Never spoil a good story with the facts etc. Loads of speculation from people with no legal knowledge. This is an orchestrated attack on the noisy neighbours. If you can't get as many points as City over 38 games what are your options? UEFA had a go and failed. Now the Premier League are having a go because Man Utd, Liverpool and The Arse are upset. The Premier League may succeed in clipping our wings and this will show the heritage clubs they are trying their best for them. The Premier League was always a vehicle for the old big 3 and these allegations reinforce this view. I just hope City have got their house in order and nullify this garbage. Come on City.
City is a heritage club.
he said huge...---It's a huge story about a huge Football Club, this is major news.
I think we should boycott all the games till this is sorted out , be very embarrassing for the premier league to have An empty stadium. Process has has been going on for that long now , it’s a joke
---And how would that help City?
One thing missing is the constant anti City bike from the media that has been going on for years. Do you think they'll ever let us forget it if the worst case scenario happens?
---They act like we’re cheats even having won at CAS. Nothing will change that. Well, apart from if we have a US owner like the rest of them.
They want to feck us all the way back to St. Mark's.
This 100%
They want only the Cartel Clubs.
Look sat the wankfest over Rags winning a couple of games. That Arsenal V Rags game the commentators were all lamenting on old rivalries returning.
The timing of this just reeks of being a last throw of the dice by FSG and the Glazers in particular before they feck off back to where they came from and find themselves a new teat to attach themselves to.
---Anyone would think that the PL wanted City to join Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juve in their breakaway faction?
It won’t make a blind bit of difference to how I feel about every single trophy we’ve won. The rules are a farce. You should be able to spend what you have, like every single other club did until our takeover. feck them all.
It won’t me either but The whole thing is starting to make me doubt whether my time and emotional energy may be better spent on something else to be honest. It’s not this alone as I am sure it will drag on for years but the overall way the game is going. Players faking injury all game, the cheesy matchday experience, outrageous ticket prices, VAR ruining the moment, game dates and times being shunted around left right and centre, awful referees, the money sloshing around and fans being treated like customers. It also seems whatever we do that this accusation of cheating to get where we have will be with us forever regardless of whether it is true or not. This might even be why they are doing this. Mud sticks and reputation is damaged. I’m becoming very disilluised with the whole football experience, the clear media bias towards the two red sides and have not enjoyed going as much more recently.
---My dad's 70 now. I've never ben to a match without him.
I think when he isn't here anymore my love for the game will go with him due to the way the sports has gone.
I'm tired of all the allegations etc. It's gone beyond banter now. I wish the club would sue everyone for slander tbh.
The PL know exactly we will fight legally and in a big way, unless they are utterly benign , why would they risk everything attacking one of it's major members without serious proof of fraud?
Because the Hateful Eight have demanded the PL go after City. I sense the PL don't want/need this, but if your "founding members" demand their competition back, what can the PL do?
If they piss off the red shirt mafia & they threaten to setup a new English Super League (Essentially the PL under new ownership/stewardship), how else could the PL react?
---This has taken it to another level, if there is even remotely a vendetta, then if we are found innocent it will bring the whole PL down, and we will sue the feckers for everything.
I wonder how much of this is to do with Liverpool.
Here we go again guilty without innocent national bbc news with what’s going on in the world it’s ridiculous.
I want to see a fight back, the clubs silence is deafening - Chelsea spend 600m - and thats ok?
If we're going down, it has to be with a fight. Silent as feck. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
You would think with clubs like Bury and others going under and the inequality, debt and "corruption" of football (Man Utd, Barca, Madrid and PSG..) the focus of those at top might be different. I hope we use this to our advantage, we close ranks, get behind the club and team and it will act to turbo boost our path to retaining the Prem title.
My view on this is that other clubs and the powers in and outside football are afraid we are becoming too powerful a force in the global game.....they are looking to chop us down to size. Bring it on.
Mansour needs to ask couple of his family mates to start taking over Leeds, Bournemouth, Everton etc.
and especially Liverpool and United and burn them to the ground.
