It happens to every player. KDB is an absolute gem of a player, just because he had a bad game it doesn't negate that.Had an absolute mare tonight. Everything he touched turned to piss.
Well done Pep. Keeping breaking records, worst career defeat and now first time not reaching semis in the CL.
Probably go on to first never winning a trophy.
average season too, for a "world class" player. It happens to every player. KDB is an absolute gem of a player, just because he had a bad game it doesn't negate that.

I disagree. It encourages the away team too try and get a goal instead of parking the bus for the full 90.The away goal rule is a load of rubbish i have to say.
Seen so many teams go out because of it
Seems unfair to get punished for not scoring away from home.I disagree. It encourages the away team too try and get a goal instead of parking the bus for the full 90.

Losing 2-1 is better than 1-0, because you actually managed to score a goal. It's more difficult to score away from home. It's pretty easy to understand the reasoning behind the rule. It's a a Stone Age rule. How is one goal more important than another?
It's create a scenario where losing 2-1 is better than losing 1-0, its ridiculous really

Would you take Pep at Arsenal? Are they calling for his head?
For me it has the opposite effect. Teams are terrified of conceding an away goal so they keep it tight at the back.

Pep Guardiola screaming after the Monaco goal reminded me of that infamous Adolf Hitler scene in Der Untergang.
Gutted. Both teams deserved to go through really, our missed chances have made us pay. Story of our season.
Why did City deserve to go through?
ClownfallWhat a movie!
City conceded 3, Monaco 1 so Monaco is better at defending. Both teams deserved to go through because they're equally as shite at defending.
Jesus Christ Debruyne stunk up the whole of Monaco, Kolarov is useless as a centerhalf, couldn't put a cross into the penalty area to save our life, Aguero missing sitters for fun, Sterling still in their fb's back pocket, crazy enough John stones played well, clichy and ferns can walk back to Manchester after that shit, we didn't deserve anything out of this and got outfought to a man, sums it up
Pep literally lost it for us, and it pains me to admit it.
I dont really think I will ever be convinced that managers really matter anymore at the top level. Its about the players you have and who you buy. If we succeed from now itll probably simply because we have signed the better players for the higher fee
He has not improved the team whatsoever and I am a huge, avid fan of his, so it's upsetting to admit
Tonight was shite, and as low as I have felt since the night we missed out on the CL against spurs.
