Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

So we run MM, UEFA, FIFA, FA and we're still 6th.

Damn, somebody isn't doing his job properly!

What about CONMEBOL? I would be very dissatisfied if it isn't rag run.

Gill: Hey, Tzatziki.
Txiki: It's actually Txi-
Gill: Yeah, anyway mate, listen; Fergie tells me Bravo and Stones would be perfect for you lot, and we strongly encourage you to buy them. It'll do wonders for your chances of featuring in the Premier League and Champions League next season.
Txiki: Actually, we were-
Gill: Wonders, mate. Tell me, have you seen the list of contacts on Fergie's phone? I have, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a whole lot of decisions going against you, were you to not comply with his wishes. Needless to say, those are in line with those of the FA, UEFA and FIFA, though that is purely coincidental, I assure you. Anyway, best of luck, mate, you'll certainly need it.

Back on topic. Feck off to the discussion threads. There are plenty.
That okay?

Luckily, I was able to zone in on the cute girl in the middle.

The last 3 pages of this thread are gold - Dunphy's comments about Pep have got them raging

This guy has it all figured out
What some people are failing to realise is that regardless of the result, The MM (Mainstream Media) will be negative towards Pep as he is currently associated with a business that is apart of a Investment Group which is in direct competition with other Investment Groups which own companies that own large chunks of this countries MM.
Also people need to be reminded that we are not the majority of publics current flavour of the era (man utd)
And some of these big investment groups ARE FRIENDS with our owners but don't want to push away their main customer base so keep City relevant by actually mentioning us.

Think about it, before ADUG acquired us, we would rarely ever get mentioned in the MM.

At least we aren't ignored.

This creates product awareness in the business of MCFC and thus increases value.

Be patient and in years to come the majority of the public would've forgotten about The Class of 92 and Ferguson... As the younger generation now are watching City on YouTube and playing as Aguero on the PlayStation.

Once this Red era tide has turned, then its the Blue tide (presuming ADUG keep their acquisition)
Which i have no doubts on due to the profile increase in which Sport and Entertainment acquisitions have helped.

The MM are not against Pep.
It is not personal.
Its just how the big business game operates.

When i saw this the first thing i thought of was this! they looked like they had fun so good on them as no harm was done apart from visual damage.

CGI is crap you cannot get the details right.. These guys look way to nice and clean, not even close.

embarrassing forum. I have honestly never met a bunch of men more stroppy because the media wont say nice things about their club. Get a life.

Theyre incredibly fickle and biased on that site. If Dunphy says Pep will win the league next year, theyll start forgiving him

Considering how the Busby Babes are still remembered fondly as part of the romance of the club, and we were making unforgettable, trophy-winning teams a decade after the Class of '92 (Ronaldo & prime Rooney), this poor bloke will have died of old age before the young generation eventually forget about us.

Reality kicking in over at bluemoon.

See the "keep completely quiet until Pep arrives and then the press will be eating out of our hands" strategy has been an absolute clusterfeck then! The press we've had this season has probably been the worst we've had since the takeover.

We had the opportunity to create a narrative with the press of being the jack the lad club that done good. The lovable losers who ended up winning. The underdog who took on the big boys and won. The Trotters Independent Trailblazers. We could have been the example to every club that no matter how bad it gets, there's always hope. There's always the chance of a miracle. We could still have been everyone's second team. The friendly, self-depricating, family club.

Instead we're the mercenary upstarts. The spoilt brats who can't fill our stadium or bother to sing any songs. The plastic club. The fans who weren't there when we were shit. The highly paid, greedy, underachieving disgrace who is ruining football.

And our club and more specifically the PR department has sat on it's fecking arse and let it happen. Played radio silent. Arrogantly thinking we'll adopt a hostile approach to the press. Give them absolutely feck all. Treat them with disdain and wait for them to fawn over us when Guardiola becomes manager because he's the biggest show in town.

It's been an absolute fecking omnishambles and unfortunately the damage to our reputation is going to take a generation to fix. The PR strategy the club has taken since Gary Cook left has been an absolute and utter fecking disgrace and I'm sick of reading negative story after negative story about the club I love while no one that works there does a fecking thing about it.

Every other week there's a fecking negative story about our attendances. It would be very simple for the club to brief the press that in fact we're currently averaging more than Liverpool have in their entire history. But instead they sit on their arse with their finger on their lips and say feck all.

It's not worked and they need a clean sweep of the PR department and get some professionals in who know what they're doing and start repairing the reputation that has been so severely damaged.

They'll never truly understand. They're an oil tycoon's 'project'. That's all they'all ever be but in their minds they're Leicester. I mean, what the actual feck are they on?

They are the Donald Trump of football. Until they can learn to accept this and embrace it, the salt will continue to flow. It's like an X Factor winner throwing a tantrum over not receiving a Mercury nomination.

how was anyone, anywhere, going to view them as anything other than lottery winners? at least chelsea weren't too shit before they got a massive cash injection, city were coming off the back of conceding 8 against fecking middlesbrough.

In my opinion, it won't matter how good or bad our performances are, or what we say or do, the narrative won't change and they'll keep writing negative shit about us. I have no idea what could or should be done about it.

Why are they so desperate to be liked? Who cares what the media or other fan's write about you. We have been hated for year's and most of us actually enjoy it!

This isn't a one off post either. There is a whole thread of them scratching their heads wondering why everyone is apparently against them. You cant have it both ways. You can't sell your soul to the cash devil and still be everyone's second team and the 'plucky' underdog. Get used to it.

They have an inferiority complex. Always have done. Stuck in our shadow.

No matter how many trophies they win, they will always be the mercenary upstarts who hit the oil money lottery. That's their narrative for life.

If i never watched another game right now it wouldn't bother me one bit im so fecked off with the PL and the way we as a club are getting shafted.

Robbed again and the only bright spark is that now, perhaps finally, people will admit that it's fixed

Apparently Jesus is the second coming of well... Jesus.

All he did was hit a header over the bar and score a open goal that was a mile offside.

Did they have a god given right to beat Spurs then? After being beat 4-0 by Everton, Spurs was a freebie was it?
