Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Can't believe some of them are talking about pep like that tbh. I like to tease City fans (Bayern and Barca to nowadays) whenever he struggles, but I am confused as to why they're smashing him in October tbh.

I think those 3 supporter groups are basically the same people :)

They're all tooting the first team vs second string trumpet yet ignoring the fact that they had zero shots against our second string CBs.

'It's a competition they don't want to win'

Yeah sure.

He was absolutely awful in fairness. I have seen him play a few times now and have seen nothing of note from him whatsoever.

My reaction too. I don't get the hype at all.

City played a second choice team to be fair. But I thought the match illustrated the limitations of many of their attacking players - guys like Navas, Nolito, Sane, even Sterling can all be useful in their own ways but none of them are particularly creative. I thought it was telling that nothing really changed with the introduction of Aguero. Silva and De Bruyne are the players that make it happen and their attack is pretty toothless without them.

Wasnt exactly our first choice back line was it.

There's plenty on here who are as bad.

This comment interested me- hope the poster is right and they can have a dose of LVG.

I think Pep is over-drilling them. The players seem confused and scared to stand on the wrong blade of grass. He seems to have scared the freedom out of them.
OTE]

Whenever we beat City or Liverpool we celebrate 'like we've won the league.' Where are they getting this from!?

Yeah no doubt, it's good to see it happens on other forums too, even when that club is top of the league

Tbf, top of the league is good, but no win in six and this place would be in meltdown- Pep' treatment of Aguero is the reverse Rooney- Imagine that. After the Chelsea defeat was the first time I've seen this site down, albeit briefly, in a while. Was after every other game under Moyes.

I avoided the site for a few hours after Chelsea, thought feck that.

Yep, me too. Well, I had a quick scan, saw the usual 20-odd new knee-jerk threads emerge and thought feck it and watched the episode of the Apprentice I had recorded. Bickering with higher production standards, but equally vapid!

The first city fan who talked to me at the match was asking where the rags are when he was looking down the window. Ironically didn't have a mancunian accent at all,. Honestly, how bitter do you have to be? What is also ironic is he was looking at the direction the away fans walk to to get into the stadium.

I wonder if he was one of the tossers doing Airplanes at the final whistle?

I went MIA for 2 days knowing this place would turn into a madhouse after that result against Chelsea.

Only showed up a couple of hours before the City game to submit my line up and thankfully we won that game otherwise I'd have deserted the forum again till Saturday.

No idea, I was in the concourse and had no clue what was going on outside. Being a steward isn't always fun and games :P

I never see the pitch side stewards watching the game, or do they just try and get sneaky looks in?

Head to the general or CE. It's where the normal people hang out.

It shows how much they really loathe us and they took this game so seriously. I bet if the opposition was another team, they wouldn't even care if they lost.

Yep I did this also. jumped on a few hours before the match.

I find it funny when they say they didn't care about the League Cup, considering the team that they put out with Kompany, Clichy, Otamendi, Nolito etc all starting, who have played a big portion of their games season and not to mention the subs they brough on in the second half... And not forgetting they brought over 7,500 fans over in the first place!
