Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

To be fair, this summer was supposed to be all about them, how they have Pep and are now the pinnacle of English football. Instead it's all been about Mourinho, Zlatan, Pogba and United. Pep is like a small after-thought. No wonder they are furious with the media.

Must be a fecking killer for a club that has lived in their neighbours shadow for so long, they are finally realising that they can throw all the money they like at the problem, but Manchester United will simply always be a bigger club.

I think the realisation is beginning to set in that Guardiola is not at Bayern anymore and that he won't be walking on water after all.

"I think we as City fans need to help Pep this season, make a genuine effort to have some patience and control your urge to flap and worry and pick at everything negative you can find... it's a process learning a new philosophy, finding the right system, your best team and the players best positions for it. If you want to enjoy the good times you have to show a little willingness to go through a little frustration or pain if you like, to get there and City fans should know all about that.

I don't want to see fans causing a stink or a cloud of negativity over the team or certain players on the field next season once it starts, it does no good for anyone in fact it hampers progress."

They don't need Stones, that's just to match Europe's elite.
They have one of the best defences in England on paper...they're just the victim of bad coaching.
Or so I was told in this very thread.

Even when Pep is interviewed, "so, what do you think about Zlatan in the Prem?"

'Look at what we've made them do' wtf is this.

Let's all have a good laugh. Look a what we've made them do.

120 mil on a player who left them for free and openly hates them. They have prostituted every little stupid thing they claimed to stand for once again with this lad...first by not giving him an opportunity and now for spending stupid money to appear like they are relevant.

Mourinho will still crack within 2 years and Pogba will go down as the single biggest waste of money in sports history, even if he performs well.

Hilarious.

Just saw these in the Stones thread on there

Not really bothered what we end up paying if it means we don't have to play Kolarov and Fernando as our centre half pairing ever again!

not bothered about the price either....we need a decent centre half and stones fits that bill

Ah yes hypocrisy at its bluest tint.

Did LVG take over?

Maybe they can do the Poznan to help Pep. :D

Oh my god

I know 2 they were Leeds fans then all of a sudden they had an interest in city when the oil Money came. Now they act like they always had a "soft spot" for them and have become "fans"
It's quite funny. My father is a City fan, who used to be a Leeds fan. From the day I was born I was hearing that United was a buying team, until the Arabs came..

They had Pogba as their main transfer thread for the last two three years, must be gutting for them now that we've signed him.

Wasn't it like 2000 pages of pure Pogba bumming? Soon got removed

The least legitimate fanbase in world football. Pretty much all of them became fans post-2008. Most of them were Chelsea fans before and any that weren't were new to football.

Yet they try and project this bitter aura of authenticity of the 'die-hard match going Mancunian hard done by for 150 years by the media and big bad United', and will spend more time talking about us and shouting 'rag' every second sentence to try and prove to each other that they're not plastic. If their 'club' hadnt actually bought their way to success in unprecedented fashion, 99% of the forum wouldn't be fans anyway!

What they say literally has no worth to any football conversation. whatsoever.

The bitterness isn't even the weirdest part. It's that they believe United are reacting to City in some way. What are they making us do? What have they done that United have reacted to?

"Shite, they've signed that Colombian kid and chucked him out on loan. We better break the world record and get Pogba"

It's pure lunacy. They think the media is sabotaging their every move, and they think they are controlling United via some sort of voodoo doll. They are totally unhinged.

They had a Pogba thread last year and most of them were convinced he was goung there!

So this turn around is really funny.

Made me smile:-
"Can we all take a minute and think about the comparisons between our two clubs. United appear to be all about dabs and trash talking shit. Whereas we, we operate with style and class.
We lead, they follow. We had Noel Gallagher, a world famous Mancunian musician, interview Pep. United have a cockney MC and a couple of dabs."

Relying on foreign investors to make your club relevant, then continuing to sook because no-one pays attention to your club, rather than spending money the club has actually earnt is being classy? That's me beat.

their CL squad has named John Stones of Everton in it

Just seen some comments from other fans on sky's website want us banning from Europe for naming a player we haven't signed !!

OK, stand down, it's our fault

Probably a done deal and we're just waiting for the Rags wankfest over Pogba to subside before Stones is announced as a City player!

They also had the most cringe worthy manager q and a outdoors too. They also thunk Pogba is massively overpriced at 90m but stones is worth 50. Otamendi mangala and stones 130m? Outrageous

They already think the entire football world is anti city so whatever UEFA do they'll whine

There's not a lot between them. Ibra is old but he's still gonna score bucket loads. Pogba Mikhitaryan and Martial is as good as Silva KDB and Nolito/Sane. Mikhitaryan alone is very very under rated. feck it I'm just probably too scared can't even sleep :(

This summer got off to a good start, with the early arrivals of Gundogan and Nolito, but a disastrous commercial venture in China (admittedly a Soriano idea) has left our squad unprepared for the first few games of the season and we're facing the prospect of starting the season with Fernando and Kolarov (two players who should be nowhere near a Pep Guardiola team) as our CBs. We didn't go out and buy a defender early on in the window when it was clearly an area of serious concern. Instead we're haggling over £4-5m for Stones when just two years ago we were throwing upwards of £40m at Porto for Mangala.

And now the most sought after player in world football has gone to our greatest rivals when we could have signed him last summer for considerably less than the world record fee. Yes, big deals are complicated, but players like Pogba are worth the hassle to acquire. Instead, we moved too late in that particular and now face losing out on the Premier League title because we didn't act first. That is down to Txiki Begiristain.

Some rags lurking in this thread. Can sniff em' a mile off.

I'm genuinely over the moon we didn't sign this fecking showman. His whole first never follows shite, combined with his agent and this rap shite has been nauseating, thank feck Pep pulled the plug.

This isn't the real world tho. If he wants to be the best in the world, and win the lot, he's chosen the wrong place imo. It just shows a lack of ambition, and a guy totally led by his agent. He's not 'come home'. He'll be off again within 3 years. Sooner if it all goes to shit (which we hope)
I laughed at his one, tbf:
Much as I hate to say it, congratulations to Ashley Young on getting a bronze medal with Tom Daley in the synchronised diving. Well deserved!

oh my....where to start? Surely they dont really believe this?

According to a poster on there Pogba is a taller jack grealish.

The bitterness oozes

Woahwoahwoah... stop the presses. I wasn't aware of this! This clearly shows that City are leaps and bounds ahead of United, there's really no other way around it.
A musician supports their club AND asked their new manager a bunch of questions???.. Wow.

Imagine if an actor would give Yaya a cake on his birthday as well, then United may just as well shut up shop forever.

They were probably very happy with Pogba's price tag some months ago when it was City who was rumored to be signing him for around the same price.
