Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Here is the original Pogba thread which has mysteriously vanished, thank goodness for internet archiving:

https://web.archive.org/web/20150709010028/http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/pogba.292054/

i think we should sell yaya to paris or Monaco in the summer while his stock is still high, and buy Pogba

we better be in the mix

Gotta be relieved how the Rags messed up with him, hes some talent

Yes please. He's quality.

My mission is to go through this thread, extract as many different quotes and then crosscheck against the same use users saying he's shit, overpriced and will fail.

Unfortunately, not all of the pages have been archived intact.

lol "not a madrid player yet" hahahahahahahahaha, you are not telling me Utd are going to be dare i say it.... snubbed.
Madrid played them like a fiddle yet again hahahahaha, if i was a utd fan i would fecking despise Real, but i'm not so i don't :-D
Ok he still may go to Utd but come on, those little comments when from Real mean "we are going to buy this player and not a damn thing will stop us"

Remember when we were nailed on for Isco then Zidane rocked up?

Incredible! Shame it's not the entire 33,000 posts though!

Does anyone know this guy??? He obviously doesn't know how Bluemoon works and how receptive they are to the 'rags' on their forum. Be interesting to see the type of hypocritical responses he gets.

"Are there any Utd. fans who post in here, who are also active on Red Cafe? If so, can you tell me what the heck that site is site playing at??? I have been banned, yet again and I didn't do anything wrong?

I joined yesterday and made a harmless comment on a thread about Wayne Rooney. Today I started a thread about Fellaini possibly going to Sunderland and that initiated a decent and funny debate. I acknowledged I was a City suppoerter, I filled in a thing on the new posters thread saying I was born in Manchester and will always be a City fan but I expect this season to be amazing and wanted to discuss it with them, etc. etc. They claim to welcome City fans so I don't think that was the issue.

Tonight, I had spent about 30 mins on a detailed post - again about Wayne Rooney and how I think he would be best off going to Everton - probably at the end of this year. But when I tried to submit it, I got this message - "Error, you have been banned".

I'm really annoyed because on that site, once you are banned, you cannot get onto a whole section of the forums, the 'Newbie section', so now I can't even see how the discussion on my Fellaini thread pans out.

Is this not a breach of my human rights!

I thought this country was one where free-speech prevailed?

If there are any techies out there, I'd also appreciate your input on how this happened. I did, thinking back, sign up last night whilst having a beer in my local. My tablet was on the Pub's wi-fi so, I assume it was a new IP address, not known to Red Cafe. The e-mail I used was also 'new'.

However, today, I created the Fellaini thread on my home PC - did that cross-reference my IP address to one on a database of banned ones, or what? I just think people should be given chances. Did they send me a message saying that I must be careful and post respectfully (which I intended to do)? No just a straight ban. Grrr its really annoyed me.

P.S. Just to add, the last time I was banned, I think it was because I dared to suggest that Marcus Rojo was a bad purchase, because a) they had to pay Nani's wages for a year to get him, b) because he had legal problems back in South America, meaning he was late joining Utd. and finally c) because he isn't very good. Ironically, according to the papers today, Utd. are probably going to sell Rojo, because..... he isn't very good!

I think my ban before that - and I can understand this one, was because I dared to criticise the holy of holys: SAF. I wrote a post saying that although he built up an empire, his actions, particularly over a race horse (Rock of Gibralta) ultimately led to the Glazer takeover & Utd's decline.... I can see why that annoyed them! But I think people should be given chances and the people running Red Cafe seem just too harsh."

That's a lot of effort and words to essentially say I'm butthurt because an Internet forum sidnt like me.

So that paragraph at the bottom seals it, can't have multiple accounts or sign up with a new e-mail, the IP check is usually what gets them if I know my Caf onions.

So if you are reading this disgruntled City fan, we have your kind here with us, along with other oppo fans who are perfectly welcome, but you were obviously a dickhead at some point and you can't just keep joining up after that.

When the ESPN article was released yesterday and after Zidane's quotes:

lol "not a madrid player yet" hahahahahahahahaha, you are not telling me Utd are going to be dare i say it.... snubbed.

Does anyone think that Madrid are leaving this late to feck the rags over at the last minute to get them back for the fax machine failure?

I would piss myself if Pogba went to Madrid, Kroos to City and a 29yr old Matudie to Scum for 30mil lol

This would be the ultimate snub if he joins real.

Smells familiar - WooWar getting played by the big boys again

Maybe I'm wrong but Woodward only tends to land big name players nobody else want, aka Di Maria and Falcao. Now Madrid want Pogba ;)

its started :)

Real Madrid make contact with Juventus over Paul Pogba - sources

"Some among the United hierarchy even suspect Pogba may be "stalling them" to see if Real Madrid come in with an official bid."

"
Sources say both the club and Jose Mourinho believe they have done all they can, however, and have even considered setting a deadline for the deal to be done or else walking away.

There has long been a suspicion Pogba is still holding out for his first choice and Real finally acted on that in the last 48 hours by making contact with Juventus."

Hopefully this will lead to us getting Kroos

They didn't want him anyway..

So it could be they end up signing an Armenian who might be good. A 35 year old dickhead who has just moved out of the Lowry hotel as it is not posh enough for him and a centre half no one has ever heard of. And they nearly signed pogpa?

Pogba goes to Real Madrid from under their noses.
Kroos comes to us.
They end up with Lee Cattermole at 11:30pm on deadline day as nobody decent wants to play in the Thursday night League.

Sheikh Mansour telling Real to flash their knickers, discount on their stadium re-furb, and drive up the price for a decent but not world class player. One they let go for peantuts. Too funny.

Open your eyes and look at Real Madrid then! Pogba's idol = Zidane. Real Madrid surpass all other clubs when it comes to players - Ronaldo left the rags to go there, as did Beckham. The rags just can't pay the sums involved with agents etc. They've got Rooney and others that will immediately be back in asking for more if Pogba gets what he's requesting. Real can handle that. It's stay at Juve or go to Real.

All those panicking about Pogba signing for the rags seem to have forgot last summer when we were heavily linked with him but rumours were he was holding out for either a stupid payoff for his agent or for Barcelona to make a bid. Seems very similar to me, he seems to be very reluctant in making pro rag move comments, whilst his agent screws the useless WooWar for every penny - My KFA opinion Madrid will stump up a lower or equal bid than the rags and the player will force the move through, however if the rags do get him they've spent nearly 3 times his value on a player who didn't want to move there (think of DiMaria, that went well) and has to play on Thursday nights in a midfield with ageing granny shagger & Michael fecking Carrick

AND TODAY!

Surely they're going to be ridiculed for this. It's absolutely the most absurd thing that any club has ever done? God only knows how much they'll pay to get Cleverly back!

I wonder why they don't quote what he's costing them. Ie £100m plus £20m for agent

Imagine if it was City buying him!

if nothing else it shows just how frightened they are of us. poor things are absolutely desperate not to be left behind. with wages its like 250m pounds. that is a desperation not seen in sport anywhere.

If this was City paying £100 million and £300k a week for their own trainee they'd be pilloried by everyone. They can't be allowed to get away without severe criticism from everyone. Their money is ruining football.

I'm still struggling to understand how they have ended up paying a minimum of £93 million transfer fee, a rumoured £20 million in agent fees and £325k a week in wages in a one horse race?

Wonder how long until Shrek and bignose go knocking at Woody's door.

He must really love United. There's no other reason why he would re- join them. We will never have the same magical aura that United have. Players willing too play for peanuts just to grace the hallowed turf of the theatre of dreams. To wear the red shirt that previous legends have worn. To win trophies every season.
We can't compete with that. We may as well take our ball and go home.

Lol one mildly good midfielder doesn't make a team title challengers

Bailly a Villarreal centre half who's only played 37 games in his life. Prob Turn out like mangala

Zlatan who been playing in a pub league and looked past it in the euros and in champs league.

The Armenian from Dortmund whom isn't nowhere near kdb silva or gundogan's level.

Think are window if we get sane and stones on top of gundogan and nolito will be on par

Do they purposely try and type like they are illiterate, or is that just the swagger that comes along with supporting a club that's biggest achievement ever is prostituting themselves in the hope that some rich investor could have changed their fortunes? They went from minnow club with no money, to minnow club with lots of money.

To be fair there were a few Bluemooners who were giving props to United and acknowledging that we're going to be a force to be reckoned with and that we have done well this transfer window....but it didn't last very long.

City and Liverpool fans are taking this pretty poorly.

Have some dignity for goodness sake.

'Desperate' seems to the new byword for 'United are doing something ambitious that I don't like'
Exactly. City fans are small time bitters, Liverpool fans are deluded stuck-in-the-past people (not saying all the fans of both time are respectively like these descriptions, but certainly all those on Bluemoon and RAWK), and they're just butthurt and jealous over Pogba. They're trying to convince themselves that it's a bad deal, that Real will get him instead, that he's shit, etc, and a whole lot of over stupid shit like it.

Man, it actually feels great. You can taste the salt and feel the jealousy. :D

If that is true, then there is nothing there that would illicit a ban from this site, suggests that what he actually did was markedly different. Probably on a WUM.

Lol Who's better than Pogba at a similar or younger age? Weigl,Veratti,Dahoud,Saul...The list could go on and on depending on one's opinion..Plenty of MFs with similar stats to Pogba..Not football intelligent enough for me..A very highly marketable player he is though..He'll make millions of shirt sales

Verratti the only one in that list that you can really say that of. The rest havent shown enough just yet.

A year ago both Weigl and Dahoud were promising prospects at best. Now they are clearly on a level with Pogba.

City and Liverpool fans are taking this pretty poorly.

No idea why City would be when their team is so good anyway. They have at 3 players I would argue are better than Pogba. Maybe they had plans of getting him for themselves. Pretty sure they were linked to him last summer.

Liverpool on the other hand I get. They're pretty much an irrelevance in the PL now and this just makes the gap between them and those they'll hope to be battling with for Euro spots even bigger.

edit: And City fans can't talk shit about any transfer fee after what they spend on Sterling.

A quick search tells me his name was 'peacefulcityfan'

Yeah, they're suffering with the same contradiction as RAWK. Saying he's shite and there's loads of players better than him yet can't wait for the deal to fall through and see him go to Madrid.

edit: And Pogba wasn't even the best PL based French player at the Euro's... :wenger:

No denying this one, I'm afraid. Not even the second best, despite Deschamps inexplicably dropping Kante halfway through the tournament. Honestly I won't complain because Pogba will odds-on be an absolute pleasure to watch, but splitting the £100m-ish fee and buying both Kante and Payet would have been vastly better footballing business. Of course, half the point of Pogba is the commercial revenue he'll generate.

He may not have had the best Euros, butyou could tell he was absolute class.

Aguero definitely is. The others (Silva and KDB) are arguable like I say.

On top form I'd have Silva over anybody in England.

edit: And Pogba wasn't even the best PL based French player at the Euro's... :wenger:
Seeing as the only way to compare players who play different positions is on impact, I would take Aguero and Silva over him. You can make a case for KDB but I would take Pogba.

KdB is better than Silva. Unless you're talking about three year ago Silva, in which case three year old Schweinsteiger is better than both.
