Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Just look at this shit. It's crazy.

I do envy their record against the bottom half though, ours is abysmal.

I'd quite like to see ours if you're able to get hold of it?

First caller on 606 tonight was saying Pellegrini is deliberately losing to take revenge. Brilliant.

Less of a pattern to it than City's, but it's clear that our away form is really letting us down.

Huh weird, expected it to look a lot worse than that. Its actually reasonably encourage I guess, 5 home games left to 3 away. West Ham away looks like it will be absolutely crucial.

Pep is taking on a horrendous team, half of their team needs replacement.

I said this to a lad at work a few weeks ago.
We went through the team, and it is an aging side. Don't get me wrong, right now, the team should be in a better position than they are, but their is a rebuild job there

Interesting that they have 5 aways and 3 homes left. Compared to our 5 home, 3 aways.

We've got a definite chance here

Sagna 33 years old
Zabaleta 31 years old
Kolarov 30 years old
Clichy 30 years old
Demichelis 35 years old
Navas 30 years old
Silva 30 years old
Fernandinho 30 years old
Touré 32 years old

All these players are closing in on theire best before date and will have to be replaced in the coming seasons. Huge job ahead for Pep probably the biggest challenge in his career so far.

Have we really only lost twice at home? I expected a lot worse.
We've got a pretty good record at home, despite all the countless 0-0 first halves. We've got the 4th best home record behind Spurs, Leicester and City, but we've only played 14 at home compared to Spurs and City's 16 and Leicester's 15. Assuming we win one and draw one of our remaining 2 home games, we'll have the joint best home record in the league.

Our away record however...we're 8th ahead City, Southampton, Chelsea and Palace who have the possibility of taking over us as we've played more away games than them.

We have done the double over exactly 1 team this season, and can at best finish with 3. :lol:
Away form is god-awful apart from the games against Everton, Southampton and Chelsea.

I agree, though given City's home form is rubbish, having more away games might not be such a disadvantage for them.

Arsenal and WHU also have 5 of 8 last games at home.

:lol:

On serious note, Pellegrini is better man than that. It doesn't help that he is not the greatest of managers and City players are too prone to suddenly stop giving feck.

You could technically the same about about Mou. :D:devil:

Well everyone know's we're shit and whoever comes in has a rebuild job, the same hasn't been spoken about over City as much in fairness.
I'll say one thing, at least our players turn up and play with some pride once every several games, Citys players seem prone to downing tools and going on holiday early.

Kompany as well. He is 30 in a few weeks.

Demichelis single handedly lost us that game, along with a fair few others this season. Never seen one player fall apart as dramatically as he has this season and it's destroyed our season. His dads refusal to notice this and stop playing him hasn't fecking helped either, neither has our attackers losing the ability to hit a barn door from 10 yards. FUUUUUUUUCCK.

I thought overall we were the much better team to be honest, we just didn't take our chances and had the worst defender in the league on our side to gift them a goal. Other than that they were wank and offered absolutely nothing. Absolute shambles the way we've fallen apart

They really do watch the game from the clouds, don't they? Martial alone forced two good saves from both their goalkeepers. Rashford should have had a nailed on penalty after having Demichelis on toast for the 3rd time. Rashford also forced a close range block from Mangala early in the 2nd half. Their best chances were mostly speculative efforts from outside the box.

Pellegrini saying they "dominated the game from the first minute". It was the same sort of domination we had against Fulham under Moyes. A lot of possession in and around the box, couldn't make anything meaningful happen. They just weren't at the races.

It's no worse than our squad.

He'll get the money to spend and players will be falling over themselves to play for him anyway.

Pre match in the week in their United thread:

It will be great when we put the final nail in their coffin when City play the RAGs.

The boy wonder Rashford's scoring spree seems to have dried up ..... echoes of previous holders of the " best thing since sliced bread" title over at the swamp. Like Macheda, Jizzy Jazzy and the rest the kid is now on the long slow slide to a loan spell or two followed by a quiet transfer in a couple of years and a career at places like Reading and Hull.

It was always inevitable. Why do people including Hodgson always fall for this nonsense. Loads of articles about his kids team, mentioning he comes from Longsight in the national press etc etc.

feck off. He is the black Messi.

Hope that Rashford kid doesn't score, will never hear the end of it.

Also, this:

Got a huge nod from a friend who the next Nited Manager is..and it's not the special one..this is second hand from a well known football celebrity but apparently it's nailed on

That would take quite a bit of cleverness. Imagine being Pelly and setting out - very discreetly, of course - to fook up Chitty, and leave a shambolic mess for your replacement. What would your first move be? I think the trick of poisoning Kompany on the quiet, and putting in Demichelis was bordering on genius.

Yep, just like you won't win anything with kids, you won't win anything with a team of old farts

"Pellers, United are after scoring"

"I'm watching"

"Want to change things, Demichellis looks shite, they have him on toast."

"No, it's ok." *Gives Demichellis thumbs up*

"Aren't you worried?"

"What are they going to do, sack me?"

zabaleta and kompany are younger than they look i have to say. I could have sworn both of them were 35 at the least. seem to be in city for a long time now them

It's no worse than our squad.

Hart < De Gea
Willy < Romero
Johnstone = Wright

Sagna > Darmian
Zabaleta = Varela
?? < Valencia

Kompany = Smalling
Otamendi < Blind
Demichellis < Rojo
Mangala < Jones
?? < McNair

Kolarov < Shaw
Clichy = CBJ
?? < Fosu-Mensah

Fernando < Carrick
Fernandinho = Schneiderlin
Delph < Schweinsteiger
Toure
> Fellaini
?? < Herrera

Silva > Mata
Nasri = Young
Navas = Lingard
Sterling > Memphis
De Bruyne > Pereira
Iheanacho = Januzaj

Aguero > Rooney
Bony < Martial
??? < Rashford
??? < Keane

The only part of their squad that is stronger than ours is that attacking midfield/wingers area. Yes Aguero is class, but I'd take Rooney/Martial/Rashford/Keane over Sicknote and Bony all day long.
