Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I don't understand why do United fans laugh at City fans? Their team is on the top, their squad is better than United's, their manager is better than LVG and they have won the title when United finish 7th.

We could laugh at Chelsea instead?

But in all seriousness, I don't think its the team we are laughing at, its the posters. Reading that forum is like reading a bunch of 17 year olds jacked up on steroids whose gearing up for a fight a few hours later

To be fair Bluemoon does definitely have a few genuine ITK on there. Bluemoon is admittedly poor in the way it treats opposition fans, but for City discussion it still has a solid core of decent, insightful established posters though, it just lacks a system like the 'newbies' on here to filter out the posters who detract from the forum's positives.

Not buying it, a few of their ITKs have claimed in the past that they're 100 percent getting Hazard, Pogba and I forget the rest. A broke clocks right twice a day.

That's why we laugh at them, even with those advantages they still have to compare everything to us or drag us into the conversation, we find it hilarious.

He said it about Delph, Sterling, De Bruyne and Pogba - that's a hell of a prediction for somebody who doesn't know anything. I think he's maintained some credibility to be fair to him.

I predicted the first 3 and said you definitely weren't getting Pogba. Therefore I'm ITK. The lads just picked up a Metro on his way to school.

Oh, you're going to be popular here
Really? I've not been abusive, I've not come on here shouting my mouth off, bluemoon gets utd fans and Liverpool and Chelsea fans being complete tools, goading and gobbing off. I've just stated the truth. Fair?

Unless those decent established posters avoid the United thread I fail to see any decent posters. Let me example.

There is sheer hatred on any United topic on that forum, even from the rare posts that give credit when its due still has the word ''rag'' in it about 20 times.

Why they hate United:
-United win
-United lose
-United draw
-United sign a player
-United fail to sign a player
-United sell a player
-United get a cup draw
-United get an injury
-Someone comes back from injury
-United sponsorship deals
-United making any story in the news
-Contract extensions
-... feck it, you get the jists.

Although we're by no means fans of City if you click on a match day thread when City are dominating or even ''our rivals'' threads you'll see lots of positive posts about their progress no matter how much it kills us they're doing well. There's seems to be a vast difference in intelligence between the two sites.

Not Bluemoon but still stupid:

I really do hope they embarrassed in Europe again and Juventus do a number on them.

Can I just point out that was our mentality about 10 years ago when you was riding high and we was treading water. You called us bitters for 30 odd years and even had the banner to prove it. This thread is 190 plus pages long full of posts calling us out for being bitter.

You do realize that the thread is 5+ years old, right? Compared to that shithole which is bluemoon which has longer threads even with lot less posters and with just rag rag barking, it is obvious which group is bitter.

It's so sad to see they can't enjoy their team being top and playing good football without constantly thinking about United.
As it should be. We are still, even with everything that has gone on over the last few years one of the worlds premier clubs, with a rich history, fantastic non council owned stadium which we fill, a global fanbase and me supporting the club. They are Stockport utd. End of.

Their United thread in 2 and a hlaf months has over 9,000 posts. This thread close to 8,000 posts in 5 and a half years

They seem to love to talk about us, hope they keep doing it. The day it stops, the day we become worried.

On Tyler:

See that fence Martin, try sitting on it now and again you absolute rag.

His commentary for the Aguero goal gave them the moment of their lives.

Can anyone understand LVG's post match interviews? He sounds like he's missing a few fecking brain cells!

Yeah, why don't you try speaking a foreign language and let's see how many brain cells you have missing.

How the feck are these second? Seriously? I thought the standard of this league was increasing, how wrong was I.

Yup, the shit standard of the league is the exact reason you're top, no?

A good post at last:

I've never understood this obsession with football fans to deny any and all weakness exist or others have any strengths. In their world getting beaten by United must have being an absolutely inexplicable event given that we're better than them in every position and they're completely wank. This is probably where all of the outrage comes from towards the manager or the DoF or whoever, they have no idea why it happened so just point at somebody as it being there fault.

The same happened when I suggested that Barcelona pretty much had a better squad than us in every single position before our two legs against them. Many shouted me down and said many of our players would walk into their team and we were going to do them home and away. But the fact remains that they're still better than us in almost every position and our squad still isn't of that quality. It will be one day given enough investment, development, guidance and success both home and abroad but it isn't there yet. Same with Bayern and Real who man for man are just better than us outright.

It's ok. It is ok to not be insufferably arrogant and think that everything associated with the club is perfect and the best in the world just because it carries our logo on it. It's ok that we're not the best squad in the world. We're attempting to become it and moving in the right direction year by year, season by season. Footballing realities dictate that if we're going to strengthen then we're going to have a large upgrade rather than a tiny upgrade for such a hugely important position; this is what I imagine the pursuit of Pogba was about and why a Barkley or Wilshere didn't come in. But we didn't sign them and are left with a weakness in our centre mid spot. That's fine, we'll address it either in January or more likely next summer. This season was about addressing the somewhat snail's pace in the attack by bringing two people who will compliment Aguero's game and give him the type of service that he wants. Like Barcelona and Real Madrid, our executive staff are now talking about how they can help their talisman win the Balon D'Or and financially backing him in the market to help him achieve it. If he doesn't then it's ultimately on his own shoulders.

We can't do it all at once. This summer was to improve the quality of the attack. Next summer will probably be our centre mid, possibly with a few recruits from Bayern if the Guardiola deal much gossiped about does actually happen such as Thiago.

But none of this changes the fact that their 4 as a whole/unit are more talented than ours as a whole/unit. Yes Yaya is above them all head and shoulders. Him aside though, you people are seriously looking at players like Schweinsteiger, Carrick and Herrera then comparing him to Fernando and thinking Fernando is the better player? I mean, there's just nothing at all to support that outside of the colour of the shirt that he's wearing.

I can honestly say that they have the better centre midfield squad depth. I can also then honestly say that we're better in numerous other positions. I'm happy that the second sentence there is probably a rational viewpoint and not a product of inane delusion because the first one also isn't.

It's actually good to see sensible posts being shown, even though I love laughing at the other posts (and this sensible post might lead to other posts to laugh at). I don't have many City friends (naturally as their fan base in Norway still haven't left school mostly...) but the one I got is pretty sensible, comparing him to Bluemoon posters is like comparing Falcao before and after Monaco / knee injury. (And yes, he does give me a hard time for them being better than us now, but I did the same when we were in front of them).

(PS: My favorite bluemoon-moments is them complaining about journalists/commentators, like with Tyler :-p)

Going back any further surely loses relevance as to what may happen this season. But of course I know throughout the long history of the Manchester Derby United have won significantly more games than City.

The 4-2 to United looks to have been a pivotal game as City have changed formation and won every game since. I just hope we can keep our form going.

It's not a surprise that you'd only brag about results going back a couple of seasons. I'd suggest that going on any previous results is completely without purpose bearing in mind the number of incomings and outgoings, particularly at United, since the two teams last played.

The 4-2 is irrelevant as are all previous encounters. What matters is current form and on that basis City can be confident not the fact that the majority of recent games have gone Citys way.

It's so sad to see they can't enjoy their team being top and playing good football without constantly thinking about United.

Many, many years of being second best does that. They're enjoying it whilst at the same time worrying about us getting our shit together.

Fans of United old enough to remember the barren years will have some insight into that because we have a similar relationship with LFC

Truly bitter bunch. Everything ends with "feck off rags" or one form of cursing or another.

It's mind boggling that 1 even mentioned he'd be happy if we went into liquidation, when in fact, if the oil money ever had to dry up, they'd be gone in no time.

Not buying it, a few of their ITKs have claimed in the past that they're 100 percent getting Hazard, Pogba and I forget the rest. A broke clocks right twice a day.
Not if it's a twenty four hour digital clock and you're using a standard wrist watch. Typical Arsenal arrogance.

This thread is 190 plus pages long full of posts calling us out for being bitter.
Yes, 190 pages and less than 8000 posts in over five years.

Compared to over 9000 posts in Blue Moon's United Thread, for this season alone.

All the money in the world and, despite their success, the inferiority complex is deep.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you sound bitter.
I've not called this place a shithole have I! !
Do you post on that shithouse which is bluemoon or just lurk??

And I'd say you've posted at least 300 posts in utd thread...
Thanks for your contributions.
