Just think about it...someone said that no one gave a shit about City and Ronetta actually backed that argument up with his crappy talksport facts. And then instead of taking it with good humour like most humans would he decided to deny it all and call everyone who responded a moron/idiot. I'm not sure why you've decided to defend that kind of stupidity to be honest.

If you can show a time where a United fan made a stupid point and responded by calling everyone stupid then fair enough. But I've been reading the cafe for a long time and when someone makes a blunder they end up getting ripped apart.

I am not going to pick over every post since I tuned out yesterday, but I just spotted this and will comment.

What you say is simply untrue.

My "crappy talksport" facts didn't back up any such thing. Therefore it was extremely frustrating to see so many people jumping to completely wrong conclusions but I apologise for calling them idiots. But they (and you) have drawn wrong conclusions. The article I linked doesn't back up the counter argument. Had I dropped a clanger, I would have the good sense and humour to "oops", but that was not the case.

I wlll say no more on this subject.

I'm not sure what your point is. This a United forum, of course we're going to pay some attention to City.

My point was that the wider football going public don't really feel anything for City – good or bad. Perhaps if they'd made their own way, as they used to, people would. But they haven't and so they don't.
 
I think that we will come good on Sunday. The rags aren't used to being favourites in these games and we've got a lot to prove
after recent weeks. I think that we will win and win well.
